Ini Blog saya

Life has been extremely meaningful after getting YES answer from Mr.Husband. Ok, I have been talking about it on and on huhu. Can i say, it is just like a man getting a YES answer after proposing a girl that he really likes. Over lah mira..

Anyway, put aside my story in Japan, I am still aiming to finish my diary very soon depending on how soon I will get the opportunity to convert the RAW file to JPG. Haiyoo, who-lah invented this DSLR thingy ya.

Speaking of blogging, yes, I am not sure how many times I am telling you this, but I started blogging in the year 2003, but unfortunately after a year, my blog, it was then called - w*fa*mira.blogspot.com has being hacked by this moron, not only that, he/she was happily changed my password for all my emails back then.

So, it took me a while before i decided to open a new blog, takut babe!!, this moron has emailed me and telling everything about me and oh he/she speaks Malay too. but later on, I couldnt deny that I am kepochi and would love to tell the whole world kekeke, so there goes, so from 2004 until now i am still maintaining this blog.

And up until today, if im not mistaken, I have 9 blogs huhu, but only 5 will remain active. so, let me explain to you..

www.emmira.blogspot.com - This is my personal blog, the blog that I really loved most. It has recorded part of me since 2004, from a student's life until mum's life. Even though I could not be as free as I wanted it to be to express my feeling, but this blog has contributed so many things for its owner, one of it is that I am getting to know beautiful blogger mothers out there and we are quite close to each other.

www.ibuemirshoppingcentre.blogspot.com - This is the first method how I am generating my income through blogging. Going to warehouse sale is part of my hobby and until one fine day, I just tried my luck to sell Lewre shoes that I bought during the warehouse sale via Mudah.my and within a few hours it was successfully sold. and i decided to set up this shopblog. However, due to some laziness to go to the warehouse sale, it was slowly transform to a blog where i posted on blogging contests.

But yes, not to mention that regularly some people has personally emailed me just to "inform" that "how could you charge this much while the price is only this much", itu baru bisnes kecik dah ade orang nak sibuk2, imagine those with big business, entah berape ramai orang dengki kan..

www.buntingpelamin.blogspot.com - another venture of online shops. Mr. Husband gave me this idea and I quickly agreed. But honestly, I have yet to concentrate more on this shop but I will,- starting from next month, this will be another project of mine. And this is better from the above shop in terms of profit :)

www.jomjoincontest.blogspot.com - you know how crazy I am with contests, as I mentioned before, I have posted entries through www.IbuEmirShoppingCentre.blogspot.com until it has overshadowed my online shops, so I decided to open a new blog for me to enter contests and to record the prizes I have received through online contests. and I didnt expect anyone to visit this blog except those who organized the contest for their judging process. hehehe

www.malaysiagiveaway.blogspot.com - I have recently run this website last week. I might categorized it as charity blog where I am listing down all blogging contests in Malaysia, which actually for my own track records. and within one week, the feedback is overwhelming and honestly, my Nuffnang increased amazingly as well.. hehehe..

So, yes, I love blogging compared to Facebooking. I would rather spare my time blogging.. and I enjoy it apart from being bibik at home, of course it always ended up ter--tido lambat.. ehhehe. Now blogging is fun, while you are posting an entry, you are on your way to be RM1 richer than your friend. Thanks to Nuffnang for the amazing ideas for the born of this wonderful ads.

So, this is my first prize I received through Nuffnang ads

RM30 vouchers from Jusco for participating in Prudential online survey.

Japan Trip - Day 7 - Shibuya and National Children's Castle

That day we went to National Children's Castle or as known as Kodomo Noshiro. It is five storey building with full of kids activities. But unfortunately, I couldnt find where Mr. Husband has save all the pictures. Hope that it is not in one of Mr. Husband's CF card which when missing in Japan :(

Anyway, not many Malaysian people know the existing of this Children castle in Shibuya. I told hubby that I wanted to go to places that Emir will loves to and remember and Hubby found out about this place in of the books that he bought.

Built in commemoration of the International Year of the Child in 1979, the Castle officially opened on November 1, 1985. The purpose of the Castle is to offer a place where children can develop healthy, happy, energetic, sound minds and body. To meet these goals, the Castle endeavors to provide artistic, athletic, healthy, inventive, imaginative and cultural opportunities that challenge and encourage the individual potentials in each child.

Taken from http://www.kodomono-shiro.or.jp/english/

This castle is around 20 minutes away from the Shibuya bus station and the admission fee is 500 yen for an adult and 400 yen for a child age 3 and above. It was really fun for Emir and we spent there until it closed to public around 5pm, but actually we managed to stay until 6pm as Emir was very eager playing the musical intruments at the Music Room.

But our hunting for Shinbuya didnt end there, Emir was asleep the minute we were out from the Castle hehehe.. Shibuya is one of the busy street in Japan, really busy as its station is the second largest station in Tokyo after Shinjuku. Our Malaysian Embassy is just 10 minutes walk from the Shibuya bus station.

Usually everyday we would go to Shibuya as it is where the bus from my SIL's house stopped, but we never get a chance to explore Shibuya as usually we were running out of time to catch up the next train.

Shibuya (渋谷区, Shibuya-ku?) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. As of 2008, it had an estimated population of 208,371 and a density of 13,540 persons per km². The total area is 15.11 km².

The name "Shibuya" is also used to refer to the central business district of Shibuya Ward, which surrounds Shibuya Station, one of Tokyo's busiest railway stations. Shibuya is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area.

After the long day, we finally decided to spend some of the yen that we have in Japan. err actually we have made the decision not to spend on food since we brought one whole bag of food from Malaysia, but why not kan..

We ate at Royal Indian Dining, he claimed that the food is Halal but when we went down to the restaurant (it is located at the basement area), they served alcohol in which we just ordered Nan cheese lah.. and the nan cheese cost 500 yen ok.. approximately RM15-RM20..

Can you see how busy is this street!! I think most of the tourists would stop at this street and snap some pictures.. Oh ya, this street appears at CNN for Tokyo wheather news..

Japan Trip - Day 6 - Yoyogi Park - Flea Market and Harajuku

I bet some of you are bored with non stoppable entry on Japan, sorry guys, blogging is some sort of my diary. Even sometimes, I loves to read my old entries just to flashback who am I for the last five years.

Anyway, from December, more wedding invitations are coming, and this time around -- banyak.. Wa boleh makan puas puas itu nasik minyak .. Ok ok, bile nak diet, belakang kire kejap.. Hope I can make it to attend all wedding invitations and Mr. Husband can accompany me.

Back to Japan trip, on the sixth day, SIL asked whether we wanted to go to the Flea Market at Yoyogi Park since here most of the items were clothes. Hubby agreed as he wanted to increase his collections of Cosplay show.

Mr. Husband was kind enough to take care of Emir while both SIL and I were shopping. As usual, I didnt really shop :), lebih baik i gune duit tu, tawaf tawaf sikit kat Japan kan..

And Alhamdulillah, during our trip to Japan, Emir was one happier toddler. Guess he knew that he was on holiday vacation. Tak kire lah dari pagi sampai malam keluar, not even once he cried or shows his tantrum.

But to compensate with this, of course at times he will ask something in return, like can drinks from vendor machine which cost nearly RM4 for one press or chocs from vendor machine. For chocs or toys usually my SIL would kindly pay for it since we refused to donate one after another sekali-tekan RM4 to Japanese hehehe..

And finally Emir found his Japanese friend, same case - mak shopping, bapak jagak anak. :).. it was so funny to see this boy talking in japanese while my son in English.. hehhehe

We asked his permission to take some pictures with Emir, so when we said arigato huzaimas, this boy replied "Its nothing" --> in Japanese, my SIL translatekan..

Me trying Sotong Ball, name orang panggil dalam Jepun tak tau.. tapi Sotong Goreng Tepung still no 1 hehehe

Then, we walked down to the street to see ape laa yang dijualnyer. and only we found out, it was another market which sells only organic vegetables. We bought some veggies, and yes, bile masak, serious rase organic :) even the carrot itself still with sand..

Me without food is definitely not me.. and this time, Emir dah selamat tidor.. It was a loooonggg queue to buy this ikan buntal (macam bahulu) with red bean filling.. Sedapp cos still hot. The seller only allowed us to buy the maximum of three of this ikan buntal sob sob sob..

Above is one of the Cosplay costumes. Nak tau ape lagi baju bajan derang pakai, kindly visit Mr. Husband's flickr ya..

Japan Trip - Day 5 - Ooi Keiba-jo Flea Market, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo and Harajuku, Tokyo

That day, as planned earlier by my SIL, we went to Flea Market, Oii Keiba Jo at Shinagawaku. To go there it was not as easy as it could be as my SIL took quite some time to search for the exact location, I mean using the GPS.

Of course, early in the morning, we only changed Emir cloth and diaper and he would continue sleeping in his stroller. Above picture, he refused me to carry him, while waiting for Mr. Husband to set up the stroller.

We were lost and only managed to arrive there around 2pm, and that time of cos good items were taken kan.. Ok flea market is like car boot sale. The goods are reasonably affordable and most of it is in good condition.

But, I didnt really spend here, well, I didnt spend that much in Japan. Actually, I dont have Yen with me, here Hubby just gave me 5000 yen..

This flea market is hosted at the parking space of Tokyo City Keiba, a horse race track ....It is very popular and among the biggest representative fleamarket in Tokyo as there are approximately 600 vendors. Very similar concept to car boot sale.

You can find a lot of interesting items here from japanese art, clothes, toys, electronic items, antic cameras, etc with good prices..

Taken from my Mr. Husband's flickr.. http://flickr.com/drziner

Emir with the Japanese kids, to be honest, they dont really bother on Emir's presence there.. :) Ya, Emir is too young for them kan..

Then we went to Yoyogi Park Harajuku where we could witness the Cosplay Culture.

Cosplay (コスプレ, kosupure) is the Japanese word for dressing up like a Japanese character. The word Cosplay from the joining of two English words "costume" and "play". Typically Japanese will dress as their favourite character from manga, anime, video games, J Rock or pop band or movie. In Tokyo, they normally gather at Yoyogi Park in Harajuku district on weekend.

Errmm.. im not sure about what anime/celebrity/character does this cosplay represent.. sailormoon?maid? any ID confirmation would be very appreciated.. thank you..

But, when we arrived there, the Cosplay was just ended, but we managed to at least shared with few of them who were still there..

The Japanese is happy if we reques tot take pictures with them, well thats what the Cosplay is all about kan..

Japan Trip - Day 4 - Shinjuku

The day after our Disneyland trip, three of us (except my sister in law) were totally exhausted and only managed to wake up around 10 am the following day. It was bright and sunny day, my SIL kept calling us to ensure that we should go out somewhere but unfortunately three of us just laze around watching TV. She suggested that we should go Tobu (miniature park) but since we have to pay for the tickets and the fact that we have to go all the way from Tokyo to Tobu to see the miniatures, so we sort of "declined" the suggestion hehehe..

After having our lunch, we walked down to take the bus and still we have no clue where to  go, but then hubby suggested to explore Shinjuku which I agreed.

Shinjuku (新宿区, Shinjuku-ku?) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative center, housing the busiest train station in the world (Shinjuku Station), and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administration center for the government of Tokyo.

Surrounding Shinjuku Station are department stores, specialist electronic and camera shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars. Many international hotels are located here.

As of 2008, the ward has an estimated population of 312,418 and a density of 17,140 persons per km². The total area is 18.23 km².[1]

Shinjuku has the highest numbers of registered foreign nationals of any community in Tokyo. As of October 1, 2005, 29,353 non-Japanese with 107 different nationalities were registered in Shinjuku.

-- Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinjuku,_Tokyo

Above is Takahimaya Shopping Complex, not too sure whether that is famous shopping complex or not since it was just few doors away from Shinjuku Station.

Actually that day, kaki ku sakit ya amat.. Rasa macam nak terpatah tu haa. After walking few minutes, I would stop and rest a while. of course, Mr Husband suggested that we should go back home but hey, this Japan trip may be the first and my last trip to Japan, so why not utilised as much as I can kan..

I guess you may wonder, kenape laa gambar kiterang comel comel jer.. I mean too small kan, err actually hubby punyer lens yang biase tu rosak, so have to depend on for err lens yang jauh.. its ok, janji gambar ade kan..

Above picture at Shinjuku street..

Cocoon Tower

At Kogakuin University, I insisted to take pictures here, mane tau, one of the day, ade anak masuk this U kan..

Udah la sakit kaki, sesat pulak tu. mind you, i jalan terjongkit jongkit okeh.. Papa kate, I dah obes :p jalan jalan jalan, akhirnya jumpeee jugak dengan Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building or Tocho - 243 metres. and if you feel that you dont wanna spend money for ticket at Tokyo Tower, you may visit here for free sightseeing of Tokyo City at this tower.

and while waiting for my hubby (amik gambar lah, ape lagi), my dear son was delighted to conduct a free concert there dengan lagu Baba Black Sheep.. Sekian terima kasih..

Japan Trip - Day 3 - Disneyland

Warning: This entry contains a lot of pictures.

More pictures: kindly visit my Facebook's album at http://www.facebook.com/wanamira?ref=profile#/photo.php?pid=2808548&id=599103591

Disneyland is one of my more than one decade wishlist. Be it whether I am already hold the mother's title, it doesnt hinder me to visit and share the fun and luckily Tokyo is one of the proud city to be honored to have their own Disneyland.

The journey took us as early as 8 am and yes, that was the peak when people are rushing to go to work. and the best part, we have to change the train at Shinjuku, the busiest and the largest station in Tokyo.

From Shinjuku, we took the train to Maihama station and the journey was around 40 minutes, and this time, Emir was still sleeping.

But when we arrived, hujan pun turun, sob sob sob.. But luckily it was not heavily run, so we still managed to redah sane sini but it was damnnn COLD..

Emir in front of the Mickey's passport. on the way to the entrance, he just woke up and terus excited. and yes, this may be one of the picture, Emir with his glove, he refused to wear it!! sejukk sangat2

An attempt to conquer the Disneyland..

with Sleeping Beauty -- tipu punyer. and yes, we understand that they are no  Disney characters walking around as before. They will only make their appearance only during the parade or any show.

It's a small world. Our first ride.

"Take a trip around the world and see the children in their native costumes as they sing about the peace and harmony they wish for the world."

The parade. Sini hujan dah turun agak renyai tapi lebat sikit.. Sejuk giler mase tu.. and yes, we only took a video here and thats answer why we dont have much pictures at the parade.. wanna to upload at youtube, but aiyoo the connection was too slow. This is the first time, I heard Emir said "Ibu look, thats a pirate ship".. waa tak pernah ajar dia anything about pirate ship..

At Mickey's house. Emir seriously was amazed. In his age, he still couldn't differentiate between reality and fantasy and when he saw his Mickey, he was speechless and I forgot to ask Mr. Husband to capture Emir first moment seeing Mickey Mouse in person.

and it tooks us more than 1 hour to see this Mickey OK :), beratur dia tahu je la kan.. but Emir best picture is using the Disney official photographer.. muke bangge tak tahan..

Mickey's magic mirror. Mickey's shadow will appear when someone stand in front of the mirror.

Merry go around.. I just stand there, can you see? errr sape suruh pakai skirt kan.. heheh

The cup.. cawan pusing pusing tu..

Anyway, it was freaking cold sampai tangan Emir sakit,  the best part we had our lunch in the middle of the rain, saje amik tempat jauh sikit, since we brought our own food.

Nak panaskan badan, we watched the Bear performance, my SIL said (she went there for the sixth time) the q to watch the Bear performance never been this long. Bet that everyone just joined as it was raining and cold outside. but hey, Emir did enjoyed the show, gelak terkekek kekek. Sorry, pictures are not allowed here.

Then, my sister quietly obtained the Fast pass to Space Mountain. There, I already know something would happen as they didnt allow kids under age to join. yeah, Papa happily volunteered taking care of Emir and REFUSED to follow his sister.

and thats right, it was a roller coster --- i ni penakut sikit ok, bukan sikit banyak!! Nyaris nak keluar barisan tapi sebab kene pujuk and tak sampai hati.. so beratur je laa.. again, no pictures here..

and Emir asked us to snap his picure here at the racing car

at Minnie Mouse's house

The fridge

at Daisy Duck's ship

Gambar di atas adalah gambar anak bujang saya tengah merajuk, pasal ape tak ingat.. Nasib ade Angah boleh pujuk..

Then, naik jumbo!!

Then main racing car.. Of cos yang over orang tua,, Emir cool je.. hehe Emir was sitting besides his father

Ok bende ni Emir naik ngan Angah since both of us malas.. :)

at Buzz Lightyear.. one of interesting place to visit. Main tembak tembak.. and my score was the lowest amongst all even with Emir hehehe

Emir with Mickey's hat,

Emir with Pooh's hat

Disneyland at night. at this time, Emir dah tido. Overall. there were few places that we did not manage to cover but according to my SIL, her visit this time lah yang paling banyak dapat cover main, sebab orang tak berape ramai. yeay, hikmah di sebalik hujan, ramai orang balik. But we had a lot lot lot lot of fun....
