Japan Trip - Day 4 - Shinjuku

The day after our Disneyland trip, three of us (except my sister in law) were totally exhausted and only managed to wake up around 10 am the following day. It was bright and sunny day, my SIL kept calling us to ensure that we should go out somewhere but unfortunately three of us just laze around watching TV. She suggested that we should go Tobu (miniature park) but since we have to pay for the tickets and the fact that we have to go all the way from Tokyo to Tobu to see the miniatures, so we sort of "declined" the suggestion hehehe..

After having our lunch, we walked down to take the bus and still we have no clue where to  go, but then hubby suggested to explore Shinjuku which I agreed.

Shinjuku (新宿区, Shinjuku-ku?) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative center, housing the busiest train station in the world (Shinjuku Station), and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administration center for the government of Tokyo.

Surrounding Shinjuku Station are department stores, specialist electronic and camera shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars. Many international hotels are located here.

As of 2008, the ward has an estimated population of 312,418 and a density of 17,140 persons per km². The total area is 18.23 km².[1]

Shinjuku has the highest numbers of registered foreign nationals of any community in Tokyo. As of October 1, 2005, 29,353 non-Japanese with 107 different nationalities were registered in Shinjuku.

Above is Takahimaya Shopping Complex, not too sure whether that is famous shopping complex or not since it was just few doors away from Shinjuku Station.

Actually that day, kaki ku sakit ya amat.. Rasa macam nak terpatah tu haa. After walking few minutes, I would stop and rest a while. of course, Mr Husband suggested that we should go back home but hey, this Japan trip may be the first and my last trip to Japan, so why not utilised as much as I can kan..

I guess you may wonder, kenape laa gambar kiterang comel comel jer.. I mean too small kan, err actually hubby punyer lens yang biase tu rosak, so have to depend on for err lens yang jauh.. its ok, janji gambar ade kan..

Udah la sakit kaki, sesat pulak tu. mind you, i jalan terjongkit jongkit okeh.. Papa kate, I dah obes :p jalan jalan jalan, akhirnya jumpeee jugak dengan Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building or Tocho - 243 metres. and if you feel that you dont wanna spend money for ticket at Tokyo Tower, you may visit here for free sightseeing of Tokyo City at this tower.

and while waiting for my hubby (amik gambar lah, ape lagi), my dear son was delighted to conduct a free concert there dengan lagu Baba Black Sheep.. Sekian terima kasih..
