Surprise Birthday Party

ok, before i proceed with the topic, i would love to throw my idea on Anugerah Juara Lagu 19 which was held last Sunday. Although the decision has been made and nothing could be changed, but the rumors and dissatisfaction could not be avoided. Basically, i disagreed with the decision especially when Spider has been announced as the Juara Lagu 2004. Although, i loved the husky voice from Tam but i dont think the song suits the Pop Rock category. It also doesnt mean that i am the die heart fan of Pulangkan, but with the beautiful redemption from Ajai, Habsah Hassan and Shuhaimi Baba, this song has more pontential. But result is a result, no one can turn back time and warned the judges to follow our instinct.

Secondly, how come Misha Omar won the Best Vocal? To me, anuar Zain deserved it. Among the judges, i didnt see any vocal teacher. Unfair judgment. Misha failed for her breathing and she dint performed at her best. Honestly, i hate the way she performed, hentak-hentak kaki atas stage, then lari lari dekat stage, terkankang-kankang dekat stage. Can we say her style? Yerks.. she is willing to do anything!! I noticed there was one part, she "accidentally" changed the tuned. Did the judges see it?

Right now im in Mantin. Actually since yesterday to celebrate my bubbly teddy birthday. Successful plan, surprised Dearie with the visit and later in the evening, we together with Dearie colleagues celebrated his birthday at KFC in Mantin. (Hey, what can you expect from Mantin?? :))

The journey to Mantin, ouch, tough one. Taxi from my house to Putra Wangsa Maju - Putra KLCC to buy the Secret Recipies Cake (aimed to buy Banana choc, but was not available - limited choiced - Only have Mocha Walnut, Mango Delight, Kiwi Delight- so i chose Mocha Walnut - then KL Sentral (note : with a box of cake) - changed train - KTM Komuter to Batang Benar - and from there, took a taxi to his college.

Everyone looking at me, yerp with two bags and the box. Oh, i met suhana sidek, a friend of mine in Jasin and currently studying in Melbourne. She looks gorgeous. Read the conversation

After i arrived in Mantin, quickly called Dearie and as expected he was not in a good mood. Ok, you can read in his previous post and comments. Hehe I lied to him, told him i couldnt come to Mantin with a lot of reasons. Back to the scene, i called him to come down and at first he refused. but at last, kuasa memujuk di tangan perempuan, hehe, die pun turun. and i just wished him "Happy Birthday Sayang" and presented the box of cakes. Then, i managed to see his big smiles again. My boy.. ahaha

11 of us turned up to celebrate his birthday and of course i revealed all - ok not all, part of :)his merajuk and manja to his colleagues and everyone couldnt believe my Dearie is quite "karat" - that was what his colleagues mentioned.

Anyway, thanks to all especially to Ise, Kak Jannah and Kak Umei for their cooperation. Really appreciate it. What a day to remember - rite abang? :p!!

I already resigned

Well, is that supposed to be im happy? To be honest, i have mixed feeling. 50% happy and 50% sad. I played with my emotional for the past one week, but i guess its time for me to move on. For a better future and a better life, of course.

Looking back at the past, yerp, i really love this profession. Still remember when i received a call from this college, i was very eager to go for the interview. For your information, i had to go trough 3 process of interviewing. 1st - with my immediate superior in Ampang, then the next day, i have been interviewed by the Director in KL and finally with the HR General Manager in HQ.

For the last interview session, it really makes me sick. Had to wait for two hours before being interviewed, and the GM never apologized. Mase tu memang rase taknak keje dah, but thinking about another 2 session before, where they were very friendly and helpful, so i cancelled the original plan.

6 months and 10 days in this college, honestly it was a topful experience. I learn a lot of things - being matured. It took about one month for me to mix with other staffs. Students, from them i had a chance to ltake a look at the other side of my lifestyle. And my biggest responsibility, to guide them in the right path and of course giving them he knowledge.

Although there were obstacles during my employment, but im proud because i am able to handle it with care. Tense, easily get irritated and annoyed - its a normal process in working environment. Alhamdulillah, everything went well and i was officially resigned from this college on 12th January 2004.

i will miss my colleagues. really. especially the academic staff. they helped me a lot. It is proved that, if you have a good teammated you will produce a good work. Although i feel im going to have a better salary after this :) but i wonder, can i get the same colleagues like them?

Ok, last saturday - 8th january, we had to attend a moderation meeting - To finalize the marks for the final exam in all centres in Malaysia. Then, we had our lunch at Crown Crystal Cafe. Its a farewell party for me.. :) Baikkan derang..

Crown Crystal Cafe located in Jalan Universiti. Very pleasant entrance right :) Actually its more to Mamak restaurant but they have different concept.

This is my lunch. First time makan dengan banana leaf. lauk tu bukan mira yang pilih, derang memang letakkan untuk kite. Banyakkan, i finished the nasi beriyani :) but not the lauk.

Ok, after finished eating we had to fold the banana leaf. Let say, if we fold from the opposite way, it indicates that we enjoyed our food, kalau terbalik, maknenyer kite tak suke. So, in conclusion i enjoyed the food. :)

Ni lah semua tenage pengajar kolej ni. All in the pictures excluded the part time staff. Miss them miss them miss them..

Interested in HRM?

Hari ni penat lecture, bulan lepas kelas tak banyak so tak banyak lecture, hari ni ade 5 hours lecture, culture shock sikit hehe.. so boleh tahan sakit tekak hari ni.. Pagi pagi lagi dah ade kelas, dah la mase datang kelas rushing. Sekolah dah start ni jalan jam balik, lagipun orang dah habis cuti hujung tahun. So jalan dah penuh balik. Terpakse la mira gune alternative lane sebab nak elak bukit :p.. tapi hari ni best, topik yang mira ajar sume yang best-best and the students ( i mean the part time students) they were very interactive, so the lesson becomes more interesting. hrm subjects, each of us, should know the employee right and this subjects helps you a lot before you involved in the employment world.

Most of them did not realize that as an employee we actually have the grievance procedure - action that can be taken from employee to employer. the most powerful method, is whereby we can use arbitration. But one big issue, are we brave enough to go through all this process?? Furthermore, we have to see the same faces for the next few years. Haha, you dont understand a thing right? masuk laa kelas i.. :p

Duitku ditahan

Fotopages is having some technical problems and pity for my fellow friends, dah la nak upload, but they couldnt do so. Sorry guys.. Today is the new semester in this college, and quite a number of new faces in this centre. New faces means they should make some profit then, but i wonder why until this blog is written, i still dint receive my payment. Even my pay slip written KIV. Ok, i can make some assumptions but theres no guarantee it is correct. I did asked my boss but she just said she will check with the HQ, and later in the evening, she went off to HQ, so i do not know what happened yet. Probably tomorrow.

Desperately need the money, yerp since this is the last full payment before i join the conversion program. Thought wanna use the money to pay for the wedding package, sponsoring breakfast for my colleague and see the dentist, but damn it ruins my plan.

But seriously, i dont mind if they refused to pay the salary as long as they released me, but please jangan lah tak bayar langsung. Waa, any donation? Hehe, no no, better you contribute to tabung bencana tsunami.

Ok, tomorrow im having 8.30am class and i am quite sleepy. Got irritated watching our Malaysian football team just now. 4-1?? so questionnable.. My brother joined the crowd at Bukit Jalil stadium, and i sms-ing him just to tell him that he just waited rm10 to watch the match.. hahaha Your say??

Gathering exMelawatian prefect of 1997

One week after tsunami, the big impact is to those survivors, they have to face the bad infrastructure, mothers struggled to babyfeed their baby, volunteers facing difficulties to supply foods and medicines, and they have to start a new life after losing their loves one.

For us, knowledge about tsunami becomes crucial, i oould see from my statcount, people visited my blog because of "tsunami" words. And it shows how tsunami effected our life, knowledge and humanitarian.

Ok, anyway today i had gathering with ex Prefects sekolah menengah taman melawati - 1997. Zarina Othman and Ida Hazwani, never meet them after 1997, not much changes for Ina but for Ida, hmm a lot changes :p

We were very closed, and satu kepala. But after 1997, most of us went to bording school so the relationship is not as great as before. Still remember, we won the best performance for 2 years for the prefect's dinner, throw a waterbaloon party and other adhoc party, lepaking at Yani's or Ina's house right after having the prefect's meeting or after school.

Well, sweet memories that can't never turned back. If it happens, it will never be the same again. I really hope that we do keep in touch!!

WELCOME 2005!!

WELCOME 2005 and GOODBYE 2004. Macam Hana, mira rase 2004 banyak sangat tinggal seribu satu kenangan yang paling mencabar sepanjang 22 tahun mira menghirup oksigen kat dunie ni. Ade kenangan manis dan ade kenangan pahit yang mane dengan 2004 ni laa yang buatkan mira makin bertambah matang dan lebih paham what is world all about. Dalam 2004..

a) Buat final year project. Although bukan mira yang buat keje tu 100% tapi nak ke step by step process is quite troublesome.

b) Habis belajar. Lepas 4 tahun setengah kat UTP, finally, mira habis belajar and dapat memegang ijazah Bachelor of Information Technology (hons) with minor in Corporate Management. Alhamdulillah. Paling best, sempat jugak merase konvo dekat dewan UTP yang besar and canggih and lawa and membanggakan and mengkagumkan hehehe.
See, how proud i am as UTP student :D

c) Tumpang happy jugak sebab Dearie pun dapat habiskan Master in Information Technology dekat UiTm with a very very good result. Dalam banyak-banyak keje Dearie pi interview, lecturer jugak yang dipilih. Tapi dearie mira ni, memang dah nekad, tak nak keje lain although it is a good offer. Dia nak jadik lecturer jugak.

d) Mulalah cabaran job hunting. Dapatlah jugak beberape interview akhirnya mira dapat menjawat jawatan pertama sebagai pensyarah di sebuah college yang memang terkenal kat malaysia. Kalau sebut memang korang kenal. Walaupun mira jadik lecturer dalam bidang corporate admin and secretarialship, meaning memang jauh gile dari bidang IT, but mira memang bangga sebab dapat jadik lecturer at this age regardless the problems that i have to go through. Plus, dengan keje ni la dapat jugak la berbakti kat mama baba especially tang tang bayar duit telefon. hahahaha

e) Hehe, ni part paling best, baru je seminggu keje, mira dah mintak cuti sebab nak bertunang. heheh. Tapi this is one of the most sweetest thing not only for 2004 but for my entire life. Alhamdullilah, majlis selamat dijalankan dan mira akhirnya dah jadik tunang orang. Paling important, tunang kepada EMRAN BIN MOHD TAMIL. :)

f) ok, mase keje lah mira rase mira betul2 tahu ape itu life, macam mane nak appreciate duit, orang kat dunia ni macam mane, remaja kite macam mane -- ok, mira pun remaja jugak hehe. Tapi ni the other part of my lifestyle. Macam mane nak handle all those problems dalam keje. Betape pentingnya dengar cakap parents, betape pentingnya bace contract and segala galanya.

g) Not to forget, in 2004 banyak betul kawan-kawan lame yang mira jumpe balik setelah bertahun tahun tak jumpe, Sharmeen, Sharifah Nadia, Nurul Firdaus, Aimy Izyanty, Azah, Farizahani, Siti Zaihasni, Ghazi, Farisha, Nik Aimi, Kak Ogy and lain lain lagi. Belum lagi nak kira kalau kawan kawan yang terjumpe kat Friendster. i hope we do keep in touch!!

Ok, banyak lagi rase nya yang terjadi, kalau cakap pasal dunia, memang banyak sampai kite pun naik takut tengok ape yang terjadi kat dunia ni dan apa yang Allah telah tunjukkan kekuasaanNya. Semoga 2004 menjadi iktibar dan panduan untuk kite melalui hari hari yang mendatang. Mira setuju sangat bila Pak Lah batalkan semua acara, konsert untuk menyambut kedatangan 2005. Kan bagus setiap tahun macam tu, lebih baik kite berdoa beramai-ramai dekat masjid instead of berkumpul untuk konsert.

OK, 2005. Hmm, lagi menjanjikan bende bende yang menarik. Korang pun mesti tau kenape kan mira nak sangat 2005. Anyway, this is my resolution for 2005, tak tau jadik ke tak.. Harap-harap jadi

a) Diet. Sebenarnya dari 2004 nak diet, tapi asyik tak jadik je, tapi tahun ni kene kalau tak runtuh pelamin. hehehe

b) Takkan tinggalkan, cleanser, toner and moisterizer(cam mane spelling die erk?). Sebab selama ni mira just pakai cleanser je, bende lain malas. So tahun ni tak leh tinggalkan bende tu. Plus setiap minggu kene rajinkan diri buat facial.

c) Tiap-tiap bulan mesti pi saloon untuk buat treatment kat rambut. Mesti make sure rambut kene soothing dengan rumpai laut tu.

d) Register mane mane gym. hehe, tapi rase nya dah nak daftar kot.

e) Dapat habiskan conversion program dengan jayenye!! and dapat diterime bekerje kalau boleh dengan syarikat gergasi with a good pay. Tak kisah kerje teruk janji a good pay and they know how to appreciate their staff - benefits and so on.

f) 2005 - Married with someone that I CANT LIVE WITHOUT not someone you can live with :). Berdoa semoga majlis berjalan dengan lancar. Kawan kawan mira yang dah tau tarikh tu, make sure aa ade :D yang lain nanti mira reveal bile ok!! Sape yang keje cuti erk :p. Pray for us.

g) And also, semoga Allah memanjangkan umur Mira sekeluarga dan umur diberkati, di murahkan rezeki dan kebahgiaan menyinari 2005. Amin..
