Actually 14 March was my 29th Birthday!!!

 and.. my oh my.. I was much busier than before..

Approaching the number 3 soon.. a lot of things in life I have yet to accomplish.. and to that, I have to work harder and even harder from today..

and talking about the business.. there is absolutely no more information in this blog.. mungkin ade pembayang pembayang but nottt laaa macam dolu dolu.. my upline called me and informed that "Jalan Saya" (sila translate dalam English) know about the existance of this blog and my other blogs as well.. hai... to be honest, banyak lagi yang bertaburan kan.. ok ok.. stop it.. wont elaborate more..

and so.. what happened to me on this 29th Birthday.. I might say it would be the most challenging birthday ever in my life to date.. life was not as easy as before.. but one thing for sure.. I am more happier than before.. Alhamdulillah, walaupun banyak kekurangan tapi hati tenang..

and to celebrate my birthday, Mr. husband belanje makan dekat Al Rawsha.. the new Al Rawsha is now located at Bulatan Kampung Pandan. Thanks Faidzah and Fadzli for showing us the way..

*Sebenarnyer laki I ni nak surprise tempat makan lah konon konon nyer, sekali sesat :D hilang la surprise nyer...

and man.. this Al Rawsha restaurant al macam al Arabi laa.. dari al bangunannya.. macam ana di padang pasir konon konon nyer... picture was captured at night.. and the worst part, the photographer was ME.. janji boleh tengok kan...

Anyway, this is the menu, and the restaurant actually exactly look like this.. 

People say, the ambience of the restaurants will evoke the mood of the customers.. and for Al Rawsha, as an Arabian restaurant, they manage to show how an Arab restaurants looks like.. Compared to their previous location at Jalan Damai, the space are more spacious and the service are far better than before. I guess they already employed more people or.. they were not many customers around.. 

The dessert area, we bought a chocolate cake.. aiyoo very laa the al gemuk .. coklat nya sangat lah coklat...

One thing I like about Al Rawsha is that they have a playroom for children.. so the parents can have ample time to finish the fooodddd...

Ample time, yes ample time.. both of us refused to share food hahaha.. so Mr. Husband ordered this Lamb Khabsa...

and yours truly ordered Mandy Lamb... BANYAKKAN!!

Us.. dah name nyer Emir jadi photographer harus lah buat itu tande peace peace.. and me look so montel kan.. nampak badan makin naik kan kan kan.. 

and Emir.. tok sey nyer nak ambil gambar.. gini laa care nyer..  dan this is the best picture of the day i have with him...

I think the only issue that I have with Al Rawsha restaurant is the price of the drinks.. The chepeast drink is about RM6.. So if it is me who have to bring 10 members in the family in one seating, more than RM100 has to be donated only for the drinks.. too expensive i guess.. even other Arab restaurant will not charge that much kan..

Ms. Read's Spring 2011 Collection

Aloha Sunday!!!

Remember my entry asking for your votes for Ms. Read contest???  And THANK YOU for all the voters as I was announced as one of the winners .. ok ok actually they only have three contestants and all of us win :)... So, like myself, I was so eager to win this competition as my SIL will love to attend this preview to bits.. She is one of Ms Read's loyal customers for ages and even Helen (Ms. Read's founder) recognized her.. :)

.... and so the event was held at Sundays, Bangsar Village on 8 March 2011.. most of the guests were err... owning this shape hehe.. and of cos all of us wearing Ms Read's collection..

Anyway, this was my first experience attending a fashion show.. :) tak tau laa excited ke tak .. haha but again we were lucky as we shared our table with two friendly sisters.. very friendly and they click with us very well, especially with my SIL la kan..

anyway, the lady below, she did most of the talking .. :) so i was a good listener then..

 

The fashion show started, unfortunately  most of the pictures taken by me were obviously shaking and blur, (kalau share buat sakit mate jer..) so these are my three best pictures.. :D

compared to other design, i love this so much.. will grab it soon!!

Above all, I enjoyed my dinner more than the fashion show (ok ok wake up Mira) but man.. tell you the food were so good!! and I nearly forgot to take any pictures of it until I saw the person sitting next to me, hold the camera.. :D

I was not too sure the name of this dish but i guess it was smoke salmon.. sedap wokeh.. oh ini i amik dua pinggan .. (peace mira)... Ade banyak lagi, semua sedap!! Ms. Read really stuffed us well!!

then we have been served with this grilled beef.. pun sedap jugak but i would rather go for the smoked salmon..  Can you see the macaroons?

Yes lady, not one but three... i think this is one of the best macaroons i tasted so far.. not to sweet, the pink color is the best.. sebab banyak sangat lebih, i dengan tak malunyer, tapau macaroons ni bawak balik.. the waiter pun offer dua tiga kali lagi sebab memang banyak lebih.. why not kan.. dah tinggalkan laki ngan anak kat rumah.. macaroons pun not cheap kan.. so i pun bungkus2 laa bawak masuk beg :D

Finally our final picture with Helen before we went off for shopping!! Not me, my SIL laa.. i tengok jer..

especially when all of us received this RM20 voucher.. we also received 10% off for Sundays.. but I dont know whether i would utilise this voucher...

Ok, baiklah, I memang budak UTP, tapi walaupun UTP ni cantik (bangge?? memang cantik pun) tapi sebab UTP ni jauh kat nun Tronoh kat Perak tu, jadinya, UTP ni tak la seglamour universiti universiti yang terletak kat KL.. Kalau tengok kat TV pun, bile nak mintak academician punye view.. selalunyer yang diinterview, academician from UM, UIA.. dan sewaktu dengannya..

but whatever it is I bangger jadi ex budak UTP.. so kesimpulannyer, kiterang tak glamer kan.. so bile ade satu satu topik cerite pasal UTP, sibuk la i nak tau jugak.. ye la sekala sekala orang bercakap kan.. ni tetibe ade satu video yang dibuat oleh budak UTP...

ok, serious kelakar......... tak tahan I gelak gelak.. adoii maa, adik adik akak ni semua ni dah habis buat assignment kot sampai banyak benor mase buat bende kreatif ni...

Actually banyak lagi version nya.. tapi ni laa yang buat I senyum sorang sorang..

Another voucher received from Baskin Robbins...

Honestly, there was a typo error in prize stated in the website, but to me there is nothing we should argue of kan.. dah menang pun cukup bagus kan.. of course I dont deny there is some frustration on my side..  I emailed Vivien and within a second she promptly emailed me back, and the day after she came back to me with an explanation. 

As a winner even a consumer, upon listening the other party apologize to us is good enough, meaning they do care about us. Tambah-tambah macam I, setakat prize winner saje kan..C'mon, human error is something that we cannot avoid, even me myself has done the same few times.

and honestly, I didn't expect anything more... syukur je ape yang ada.. kalau salah announce winner, itu adalah cerite lain :d

But, unexpectedly, Vivien called me and informed that she would pass to me another voucher.. So I met her again at Baskin Robbins Mont Kiara... and tadaaa...

First of all, syukur Alhamdulillah for this winning. It was the first BIG winning in 2011. As other contestants, of course I was waiting "patiently" for this announcment, and of course, like any other contestants, I aimed to get that pendant and 1 year supply of Baskin Robbins -- alaa first prize laa kan .. but the competition is very stiff, each entry has its own strength and semua dah bagi all effort to win this competition..

and all I can do.. - HOPING for the best kan...

and, after I saw Baskin's Robbins status

Yes ladies, it was NOT one easy job. 

FIRST

Even though I had a lot of ideas in mind, but I didnt know anything about video.. So with this own effort, I asked Mr. Google and learnt how to create the video from one available source from the Internet (forgot where).

SECOND

and to capture the moment of cos it was not so easy since Emir in nature doesnt like to take pictures.. and lucky me on that day, my sister (Ainaa) was around so I asked her to accompany me to Baskin Robbins AU2 Setiawangsa and the video taken were all naturally, bukan I suruh dia berlakon.. but gosh telling you.. banyak take ok.. my sister keep ambil dan ambil dan ambil until i said stop..and of cos, adik I pun bengang laa kan.. :D

THIRD

antara banyak-banyak hari, hari tu laaa tetibe Emir didn't even want to enter Baskin Robbins shop -- SEBAB APE?? cos he accidentally saw the fountain outside yang boleh mandi2 tu..so to keep his mood in front of the camera.. i banyak betul tackle dia..

FOURTH

We have hundreds and hundreds of shots and more than 20 videos taken from outside the Baskin Robbins until we finished eating.. and you know every single hour on one particular day, I slowly will ask Emir to record his voice since he was not cooperative at all.. until-lah I satisfied with it.. itupun again, kene gune psikologi jugak..

FIFTH
and the disaster came when I only have 1 minute.. susahhh ok.. and YouTube has an additional about 2 seconds from the original video.. bape kali buat okeh, and this doesn't include the debugging, music tak nak masuk.. videos jumbled up.. the best part...

the best part...

i accidentally deleted some of the videos after it was ready to be published, plus deleted the Recycle Bin as well (tot that was the wrong videos - ye la komputer dah berat kan)... tak pasal-pasal I have to trim and edit the video AGAIN!!! dah la i had to convert dulu ape bagai kan..

but what can I say.. it is all worth it :)

Along the way... yes...

I tried not to post anything sad, anything "private" about my emotion, but sometimes i couldnt help myself to type, to express how I feel.. and usually i would only published about 3 daysor shorter before I deleted it. Like i said, yes, I need some space to share my feelings... 

Yes, some of you may be aware of what I have gone through now, and yes, I am still at this state, but I could see some shine result soon, insyaAllah, only the time is a factor...

you know, when you are in difficulty, along the way, all you need is a strong support.. even though you are the one who initiate the problem. Fix it. yes, as easy as it said kan... but the word of encouragement is what you need.. 

And along the way, I find my strength, the strength that I have never had before. 

Along the way, you know who will be with you, who will hold your hands and walk together hand in hand.. and along the way, you know who will create a gap between you.. 

Along the way, I find my strength through experienced, sailing my life in these days would be the most memorable experience in my life to date. 

Along the way, I understand that world is not cruel, world is fair, sometimes you are up there and the next day you may look like a sh*it..

and finally, along the way.... i just have to work with Him.. cos He has the answer..
