Blogger event : Poise "Embracing the Realities of Womanhood & Light Urinary Leakage" Workshop

This is the first blogger event that I attended this year and of cos-lah excited tu terlebih sikit despite knowing that none of my closest bloggers friends accepted the invitation.
The event was held at aLoft Hotel, KL Sentral.. new hotel exactly next to LRT station and I think this hotel gonna be one of the famous hotel among tourists in no time.

And thankfully, my sister, Ainaa pun dapat join jugak.. and she was the one who forced to snap her picture at the hotel entrance which is in front of the busy road area -- :p..

Perhaps you are wondering why she was wearing baju kurung, well, actually we came all the way from Klang after attending kenduri Tahlil arwah Pak Long. Sekejap je dah 100 hari. Moga roh arwah ditempatkan bersama orang yang soleh. Al fatihah.

And so this is how the hotel lobby looks like.. everything is new in fact, they haven't charged for parking fees.. -- nasib :) so jimat lah duit kami kami :D

Before the event started, ada dua booths yang disediakan untuk kami-kami ni main game dan mencuba nasib. Sebenarnyer ada ambik gambar, tapi tak de pulak sebab masa tengah ambik tu pun, handphone banyak songeh.. kejap SD card penuh lah, kejap phone memory penuh lah..

Dua game yang ada adalah crossword puzzle dan juga fill in the blanks. Interesting.. hadiah kalau betul mestilah barangan Poise kan..

Let me try to explain LUL in a simple words.. bahasa orang kebanyakan macam kita..

LUL ni bukan LOL - laugh out loud.. tapi light urinary leakage.. dalam bahasa kita tak ada istilah yang sesuai untuk represents LUL tapi kalau bahasa pasar, kite kate terkucil lah..

sebabnya, masyarakat kita di Malaysia masih lagi malu untuk menceritakan mengenai LUL padahal yang sebenarnye bak kate Dr Seri, tipulah kalau perempuan tak pernah kene.. jadi sebenarnyer ini adalah masalah sejagat, masalah kaum perempuan dan bukan masalah kesihatan.

Selalunya LUL ni sinonim dengan mereka-mereka yang mengandung, ye  lah, kalau kite mengandung, baby kite tekan tulang pelvik (harap lah betul explanationnya).. therefore, kite senang terkucil tapi sebenarnyer, banyak perkara sama ada kita tau atau pun tak yang menyumbangkan kepada LUL.. contohnya macam

1. Bersin
2. Batuk
3. Senaman
4. Angkat Berat
5. Ketawa..

Cuma masalah ni makin ketara kalau usia kita makin meningkat, particularly for those who aged over 40 years old or orang obes (macam I).

Tapi jangan risau, masalah ni boleh dirawat,but i dont think there is a medication for this. One of the way to treat ur bladder is by doing Kegel's exercise. First time i dengar perkataan Kegel.. punyalah lack of knowledge i ni, orang lain ramai dah yang tau..

For LUL, we have to understand what is the correct exercise. Kegel ni ala-ala senaman kemut-kemut.. the simplest thing to know what Kegel is -- bile kite tahan nak buang air kecil / air besar. That is Kegel. :) Demo telah diajarkan oleh Cik Neng.

The next thing is to know what is the right product. As far as Im concern, i tak perasan jenama lain yang specialised in LUL. Kalau Liner banyak. take note that liner and Poise pads (for LUL) are two different things. Nampak tak gambar dekat atas tu.. Kalau gune Poise you akan rasa lebih kering dan selesa. Dan Poise terbaru mengandungi Aloe Vera dan Vitamin E, jadi of cos kita tidak akan rasa bau kencing dan memudahkan aktiviti harian kita..

Gambar makcik atas ni adalah mak Raja Azura. Memang peramah orangnya, patutlah dapat dekat anak dia dan mak Raja Azura berkongsi cerita bagaimana Poise telah meyakinkan dan menyenangkan dia untuk melakukan aktiviti-aktiviti. Key point - you akan rasa kering..



Apalah event without yummy foods right.. ok presenting to you rainbow come on a stick, chicken mushroom pie and a box of popcorn.

We ended the event with a group photo... cari mana I.. angel dia mestilah tak nampak i paling besar kan kan kan hahaha..

dan i ambik kesempatan ambil gambar dengan Dr. Seri.. Datin Seri memang sangat popular di kalangan kawan-kawan kat ofis i. She is a gynae at Prince Court.In fact semua panel adalah dari Prince Court Medical Centre.

Dan satu-satunya blogger yang i familiar with.. Cik lily kite..nasib ada u.. barulah rasa best sikit, cik lily semangat, duduk barisan paling depannnnn sekali.. sure input banyak masuk :D

and this is the goodie bag.. adik I punye tak sempat nak ambil gambar.Nak dijjadikan rezeki, I menang Lucky draw dan dapat lah hamper tu.. :D I received two hampers, hamper yang sama masa jawab soalan dan hamper yang kat bawah ni masa i menang lucky draw.. :) Alhamdulillah rezeki.. sebelum ni jarang pulak (i rasa tak pernah kot) menang lucky draw, ni dua kali berturut pulak..

Sofia The First : Once Upon a Princess

Me in online business..

ramai orang bertanya kenapa i venture into online business. to tell you the truth, i started doing online business way back then in 2007, masa tu online business bukan IN thing lagi.. i started with selling items that i bought during the warehouse sale and sold it back at a higher price but still much cheaper from the market price. and yes, it was a good market back then.

thereafter, i stumbled with the idea to sell online maternity clothes and Alhamdulillah, once again it was a good market and in fact, one of the famous English newspapers called me up for an interview, but unfortunately i declined as i was about to slow down on this business.. why??

first of all, it was not easy to handle customers, despite how many info I have placed on the website, still, the common questions that i received was "kalau orang size xx, tinggi lebih kurang x cm muat tak baju ni.." or after we took sometime to entertain them suddenly they decided not to buy.. hmmpph.. or kes-kes nak pulangkan baju.. 

ok, that was not the main issue.. memang hak pengguna pun kan nak tahu.. 

the main issue was when my mum brought up this conversation. I agreed that some of my maternity clothes adalah tidak mematuhi syarak hukum agama.. and honestly, the way i dressed up pun belum lagi apa yang agama kita mahu (insyaAllah.. satu hari nanti).. so mama kata, kenapa i nak memanjangkan dosa dosa I..

absolutely true.. of cos i can always sell baju baju yang tutup semua.. mana tahu my next project.. but not anytime sooner.. 

I moved on trying to concentrate on my Am*way.. but again and again.. it was not an easy market.. online Internet marketing is strictly prohibited and against the policy of the Company and I myself experienced receiving a love letter from them asking me to stop online marketing.. somehow, i still found a bit weird especially when other competitors has embarked and concentrate on online marketing. I understand that this year they have put extra initiatives by inviting few famous bloggers to review on Protein Powder (honestly, i love Nutrilite Protein Powder to the max) but you know it totally a different experience between you pay them to review your products vs people who actually used that products.. i think real testimonial is more convincing.. 

but anyway, i am still the distributor, memang gune tetiap hari pun.. and i do have the customers, but most of them are my returning customers.. 

- semalam punya order , Alhamdulillah--

and so.. let put aside my Amway stories.. :)

so, after few year sitting in front of the laptops, updating my blogs, stalking to someone's blogs, facebook, twitter and now instagram.. i think i should make money out from it.. 

i mean seriously..

but first thing first, i need to maintain and keep the momentum all the way for online business. 

as for now.. my first project is

but above all, i have this one wild online idea in my mind that I have kept it so very long.. susahnya nak execute sebab tak tau sape boleh tolong :)

oh not to forget, my project with Zety.. tapi zety ni macam susah je kan hahaha (kalau malas tu macam-macam alasan)..

This is what we called a holiday.. #Felda Hot Springs Sungai Klah, Sungkai, Perak

The day when i went for the teambulilding last December, I promised to myself that i would bring Emir here. Even though this place doesn't sound very popular or glamour but as a mother, I know, Emir loves this.. water and slides.. 

and so, I booked the hotel from Agoda. Most of my friends (especially those in  Accounting lines) do not trust Agoda or watsoever "online travel agent", but as for me.. I satisfied with Agoda as it offers the best price as compared to others.. (bookings.com, asiarooms.com, expedia.com).. Honestly, i have all those accounts and being so-called in "finance" environment, i did make a comparison just to get the best price even though the difference is only RM1 .. kiasu tak kiasu.. :p

and again, i managed to secure the room at RM168 per night inclusive of tax instead of RM200 ++ (orang kate RM250) during super peak period.. so.. tell ya.. i saved nearly to RM100 pernight!! :)

however, i forgot to snap any of hotel room's picture, yang ada masa teambuilding dulu je.. 

of cos i requested for queen bed la kan.. :)

as i am now venturing to this chocolate business, is a must for me to wrap and pack few boxes in my luggage in case there is an order, and Alhamdulillah cuti-cuti pun ada juga order masuk..

Anyway, in the beginning i really wanted to bring my whole family here but unfortunately no one accept this "invitation"...  last minit baba nak ikut pastu tak jadi pulak.. so takpe lah..

sebabnya, di Felda HotSpring ni ada kolam air panas yang baik untuk pemulihan penyakit yang berkaitan tulang-tulang atau urat-urat.. dan kalau berendam dalam air panas ni, lebih kurang macam kite berlari jugak :D

Coco Damia (Coklat IQ) : Kenapa Saya Makan, Kenapa Saya juga Menjualnya?

Assalamualaikum....
Hi Positivity Blog Readers! ^-^

Harini saya nak berkongsi tentang coklat coco damia.
Kenapa saya makan, dan kenapa sibuk pula saya nak menjualnya?

Wait, don't stop reading,guys!
My personal blog is about my personal life experiences.
 

Kalau saya serius dalam bisnes semata,saya pasti adakan satu lagi blog untuk biz tentunya. kalau tak,sure u ols borings nak baca blog i ni..ahakssss... (perasan!)

Apapun,minat dan impian saya pada bidang penulisan, tetap teratas.  

*gosh, skrip drama pertama saya da diluluskan oleh 'cikgu' tapi saya belum hantar kepada  penerbit!! My bad!*
Blame to my 'all day' sickness. huhu.(alasan!!)

Kenapa saya makan?

Rasulullah SAW bersabda;

" Berilah minuman lubanah kepada isterimu yang sedang hamil. kerana ia dapat menambah kecerdasan akal anakmu'' - Kitab Thibbun Nabawi-

 dan.......

Imam Ali bin Musa Ridha a.s. berkata,

 

''Berikanlah luban kepada isteri kalian yang sedang mengandung. Jika bayi yang dikandungnya itu laki-laki, maka anak tersebut akan menjadi anak yang cerdas, pandai, dan pemberani. Dan jika bayi yang kandungnya itu perempuan, maka anak itu akan menjadi cantik paras dan budi pekertinya, serta akan dihormati oleh suaminya.[35]''

Kerana itu, saya ingin amalkan (coklat mengandungi lubanah) sepanjang 40 minggu nan indah..Insyaallah. Mudahan kehamilan saya kali keempat ini, menjadi lebih baik. ^-^ Panjang umur,sihat tubuh badannya.

Saya memang *antu cekelat* pun!!
Dari saya makan coklat Cadbur*, Ferrero Roc*** dan segala cekelat feberet ....ada baiknya saya bertukar kepada yang lebih berkhasiat.

Kenapa anak anak saya makan?

Aleesya tentunya.
Alhamdulillah. Pada usia 3 tahun, saya sudah mula mengajarnya asas membaca, mengira,menulis dan mengaji. Kalau dahulu, 15minit dua sesi (siang dan malam), tetapi sekarang bila Aleesya semakin faham kaedah asas 3M dan mempunyai peningkatan kemahiran 3M,homeschooling saya hanya 15min sehari. As simple as that!

Sebagai 'teacher mama' saya membuat persediaannya untuk ke sekolah tadika di usia 5 tahun nanti. Tidak terlalu 'advance' untuknya kerana tujuan saya  lebih kepada untuk memudahkan dia belajar dan cepat faham apa yang gurunya ajar di kelas nanti. Biar ke depan,asalkan tidak tertinggal di belakang.

Ibu tetap guru terbaik dalam mendidik dan mempersiapkan

 anak untuk kekal cergas dan cerdas.

Ini surprise birthday card tuk saya.
Papanya eja, Aleesya tulis. Ketika ini usianya 3 tahun 9 bulan ^-^

Dan kerana itulah, saya rasa,saya perlu tambah 'jajan' untuk kebaikannya. ''Untuk kecerdasan akalnya dan daya ingatannya.''

Ia juga sebagai tambahan kepada makanan kegemarannya iaitu kismis dan air zam zam...

Hahaha... saya yang ajar tu!! dalam bahasa mudah.

Sebabnya, nak minum air zam zam,saya bacakan selawat dan doa ke dalam air. Dan coklat ini pula, kerana adanya bacaan doa ayat quran. Dont worry,da besar nanti,fahamlah dia tentang kewujudan air zam zam kan,coklat quran,kismis doa sebagainya ini.

I don't make things complicated untuk terang panjang lebar. Pada saya,ikutlah perkembangan usianya. Lagi mudah faham,akan lebih lagi penerimaannya.

Dan setiap kali hantar mengaji di ''Al baghdadi'', saya pesan,

mengaji quran pandai pandai ya!!'

Nanti allah sayang Aleesya.

Untuk Aaron...
kegemarannya juga kismis doa dan air zam zam. Letak lah kismis dalam mangkuknya,air zam zam dalam botolnya...pandailah dihabiskannya.
Jadi,tuk Aaron, boleh lah share makan coklat ini dengan 'adik baby' - ahaksss...mamanya lah kan!

The Women's Weekly Mother's Day Cooking Workshop

first of all, this was an outdated story.. and starting from today.. insyaAllah, I am trying my very best to upload one story per day.. because i do think that i miss other part of me if im not blogging.. well, blogging has been part of me since 2003.. so you know, a decade of blogging... dari zaman anak dara sampai la mak dara.. :)

and so.. upon invitation from my neighbour, i registered myself at this cooking workshop. Femy was the one who very semangat and anything that involved memasak, i wont think twice.. !! Femy lah arranged for the payment, fill in all the details.. if it was me.. definitely it wont happen :p

We just paid RM50 for this session, of cos at first i was like.. "alaa mahainye nak belajar masak" ok, me being ke.de.kut :p but it was a short while.. especially the event was held at Prince Hotel KL. 

Early that morning, Mr. husband drove the two of us (my neighbor and I) to the hotel. and we thought, we were quite early, but hell no, the q for registration boleh tahannn jugak..  

when i was quietly eating my breakfast, this kind lady, Laila, surprised me.. 

"ingat saya lagi tak"

ok, yours truly has a very very short memory.. huhu..maafkan saya.. she has a blog too, i just remembered i met her once during one of Nuffnang's event at Sunway Lagoon... but unfortunately, i couldnt catch her blog's address.. any of you can share with me?

Femy said she actually arranged for 4 persons to join her on that day but only three of us turned up. Met my new friend - Shireen.. (femy's friend (she is in the middle))... 

  
Should i introduced you to F&B section? but i betoi betoi lupa nak jadi part of pesakit mental mengambil gambar-gambar makanan yang indah lagi lazat.. the fruit tart was marvelous.. 

and we could just refill our Nescafe Dolce Gusto's coffee.. again and again. Ladies, you should scrolled down and see what happened to me at the end of this event :p (alaa i dah letak dalam Instagram Facebook dah pun).. 

but at this point of time.. we were like.. sedap nyer Chocolate coffee ni, sedapnya Caramel Latte ni.. i lah yang tamak dan haloba.. telan lah jugak dua cawan in total ;)

The workshop was delayed nearly to one hour.. the Chef in action was Chef Andri (kalau tengok Dugro Chef Cilik, dialah Chef nyer).. Ok, i thought it was a cooking workshop where we had our own small kitchen to cook, but.. after seeing the participants list in WW's Facebook -- 80 participants, i knew it would only be a cooking demo. 

One drawback from this workshop was, those participants at the back couldnt see clearly. and of cos we lost our concentration.. Even though  the organizer did placed a projector at the right corner, it didn't help at all, pening kepalak jugak because the video was shaking.. orang yang ambik video tu tak pakai tripod, pakai tangan, sebab tu lah goyang-goyang gerudi kan.. 

but Thank God Chef Andri was very entertaining.. so sangat tak boring.. Ade 6 cooking, and the picture below was the first cooking.. seabass something something (lupaaa).. i didn't taste -- tak sanggup (geli tekak hahaha) sebab semua orang gune sudu yang sama.. in fact, i could see the fish also :p tapi sebab nak ambik gambar.. boleh lah action sikit..

and Chef Andri invited few participants to assist him in cooking.. and one of the cooking preparation, i raised my hand and said ... "this pregnant woman nak tolong" hahaha she was the only participant yang sarat.. 

We didn't know that they provided us with lunch.. lunch ke-enam-enam cooking yang di masak.. Again.. i memang tak teringat sikit pun nak ambik gambar.. perhaps I didn't go with my blogger circle.. so terlupe pulak, plus dah lama tak update blog kan.. itulahh.. 

the above apron was part of the goodie bag.. and Im kinda love the apron.. :) nampak catchy pun iyer..

this was the highlight of the event, Lucky draw.. if i'm not mistaken, they had 6 prizes.. 3 buffet dinners from Prince Hotel, 2 stay vouchers also from  Prince Hotel..

and so called Grand Prize was.. Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker.. 

memandangkan luck untuk nombor saya tak pernah kot kene dalam lucky draw macam ni.. tapi harapan tu tetap ada.. (ye tak...)

untuk dijadikan cerita.. Masa organizer tu nak ambil number.. one of the number terjatuh.. and dalam hati i

"alaaa.. entah-entah nombor i"..

Rupe-rupenyer.. number tu terjatuh untuk bagi rezeki dekat i...

Yes.. it was my number being called -- the lucky number 78..

*Happy Happy happy.. suke okeh.. suke suke suke...should i say more especially when this prize worth RM799

i never think to sell this off.. i will keep this definitely.. balik terus bukak dan rasmikan..

 and.. straight away bought this 4 flavours!! and my favorite is Chocochino..

so my investment of RM50 is truly worth it kan kan kan.. :)

p/s Alhamdulillah, dalam kemarau tak menang contest.. hadiah ini pulak menjelmaa..
