I'm the Third Prize Winner for Baskin Robbins Facebook Contest :) and SURPRISED!!!

First of all, syukur Alhamdulillah for this winning. It was the first BIG winning in 2011. As other contestants, of course I was waiting "patiently" for this announcment, and of course, like any other contestants, I aimed to get that pendant and 1 year supply of Baskin Robbins -- alaa first prize laa kan .. but the competition is very stiff, each entry has its own strength and semua dah bagi all effort to win this competition..

and all I can do.. - HOPING for the best kan...

and, after I saw Baskin's Robbins status

and tadaa... it really makes me smile the wholeeeeeee day!!!

But to be confirmed, I just waited for Baskin Robbins to contact me. And yesterday, Vivien from Baskin Robbins called me for the prize collection at The Gardens Baskin Robbins.. SUKE!!

and I promised to meet Viven at 3 pm but I was late.. (sorry Vivien) as I suddenly decided to fetch Emir from school first as we both actually are the third prize winners..

and I tak sempat nak amik gambar dengan Vivien, she is one of the judges as well.. and I personally told her that I'm glad that Baskin Robbins contest was judged by panel of judges and not based on public voting.. dah masuk Baskin Robbins mustahil lah anak I tak nak ice cream kan.. dan officially I have used one of the vouchers :)

Yes ladies, it was NOT one easy job. 

FIRST

Even though I had a lot of ideas in mind, but I didnt know anything about video.. So with this own effort, I asked Mr. Google and learnt how to create the video from one available source from the Internet (forgot where).

SECOND

and to capture the moment of cos it was not so easy since Emir in nature doesnt like to take pictures.. and lucky me on that day, my sister (Ainaa) was around so I asked her to accompany me to Baskin Robbins AU2 Setiawangsa and the video taken were all naturally, bukan I suruh dia berlakon.. but gosh telling you.. banyak take ok.. my sister keep ambil dan ambil dan ambil until i said stop..and of cos, adik I pun bengang laa kan.. :D

THIRD

antara banyak-banyak hari, hari tu laaa tetibe Emir didn't even want to enter Baskin Robbins shop -- SEBAB APE?? cos he accidentally saw the fountain outside yang boleh mandi2 tu..so to keep his mood in front of the camera.. i banyak betul tackle dia..

FOURTH

We have hundreds and hundreds of shots and more than 20 videos taken from outside the Baskin Robbins until we finished eating.. and you know every single hour on one particular day, I slowly will ask Emir to record his voice since he was not cooperative at all.. until-lah I satisfied with it.. itupun again, kene gune psikologi jugak..

FIFTH
and the disaster came when I only have 1 minute.. susahhh ok.. and YouTube has an additional about 2 seconds from the original video.. bape kali buat okeh, and this doesn't include the debugging, music tak nak masuk.. videos jumbled up.. the best part...

the best part...

i accidentally deleted some of the videos after it was ready to be published, plus deleted the Recycle Bin as well (tot that was the wrong videos - ye la komputer dah berat kan)... tak pasal-pasal I have to trim and edit the video AGAIN!!! dah la i had to convert dulu ape bagai kan..

but what can I say.. it is all worth it :)

Along the way... yes...

I tried not to post anything sad, anything "private" about my emotion, but sometimes i couldnt help myself to type, to express how I feel.. and usually i would only published about 3 daysor shorter before I deleted it. Like i said, yes, I need some space to share my feelings... 

Yes, some of you may be aware of what I have gone through now, and yes, I am still at this state, but I could see some shine result soon, insyaAllah, only the time is a factor...

you know, when you are in difficulty, along the way, all you need is a strong support.. even though you are the one who initiate the problem. Fix it. yes, as easy as it said kan... but the word of encouragement is what you need.. 

And along the way, I find my strength, the strength that I have never had before. 

Along the way, you know who will be with you, who will hold your hands and walk together hand in hand.. and along the way, you know who will create a gap between you.. 

Along the way, I find my strength through experienced, sailing my life in these days would be the most memorable experience in my life to date.

Dalam 6 tahun bertugas ni, antara portfolios yang saya pegang, to name few are PET*RO*NAS, Sh*ell, Ex*xonMo*bil, Hew*lett Pac*kard, H*SB*C, dan banyak lagi and this is excluding advisories that I have done on expatriate issues, payroll review, shareplan, remuneration packages and compensation & benefits.

and Dear, im charging RM150 for one tax return per year and it is inclusive of arranging for tax payment and refund. Mind you, this is very sangat lah murah... to me kalau ade orang letak harge RM300 is still cheap :) ni just RM150.. but yes, tepuk dada tanye selera kan..

PRIOR YEARS INCOME / PENDAPATAN TAHUN KEBELAKANGAN.

Jika pada tahun 1996-2000 belum declare income tax, perlu isi kat sini ker? Camna dengan pelepasan utk tahun yang tak declare tuh? Tak layak mohon ker?

Jawapan saya: Ok kalau tak file lagi tak pernah declare, saya cadangkan Encik mintak borang tahun 96-2000 kepada Lembahga Hasil dan isi sebab column untuk Tahun kebelakangan tu hanya untuk additional income in arrears. As a note, tahun 2000(prior years basis aka income in 1999) banyak orang dapat waive tax tapi kene dapat confirmation from LHDN. Pelepasan untuk tahun yang declare tu boleh dapat asalkan masih sempat segala mala receipt nak claim.

2) oo itu panggil audit letter (audit meja) Lembaga Hasil akan tengok betul tak ape yang kite claim dengan dokumen yang kite ade. MEmang kena bagi dokumen, takut derang impose penaltu

pastuh untuk bahagian pelepasan 'Buku dan majalah - maksimum RM1,000, tak termasuk PAPER' yg nie untuk buku n mag macam mane eh? if mjlah maskulin,seventeen ke novel cinta, lagenda budak setan etc ke lepas ke?

Perkara pertama kene check, adalah tengok you dah ade tax filing number ke belum.. Tax filing number boleh check dekat payslip ade.. selalunyer bermula dari SG XXXXXXXX-XX(X). kalau dah ade, maksudnye, u memang dah wajib dah kene declare tax..  

kalau you tak penah lagi declare tax.. better do it now sebelum LHDN audit you.. takut nanti you are in deep trouble.. but of course, kalau mood officer LHDN tak baik, then penalty will be imposed..  

kalau u memang tak de tax file no, meaning that you have no obligation to file your income tax.   

What you have to do untuk buat online submission..??  

First and foremost.. memang you kene pergi any LHDN near you untuk mintak digital cert. Then dari digital cert tu baru boleh you log in to LHDN's website.. 

Untuk Pelepasan Buku...  

Semua boleh, buku ABC pun boleh, magazine ape magazine pun boleh.. buku ape2 pun boleh.. (except buku latihan kotak2 ke, ledger book ke - ni tak boleh), buku dekat sini maksudnyer bahan bacaan.. but of course not that xxx :) (be it magazine or books) however, newspapers would not qualify for this exemption :) and, please ensure you keep a proper supporting documents.. mane tau kot kot you are the choosen one to be selected in desk audit..

Salam. Dont' worry.. If Im not in this industry, I will no nothing about tax :)

1) Salinan IC dah memadai. Permintaan nombor pin boleh dibuat dengan hadir di LHDN berdekatan atau faks.

2) Bergantung pada budi bicara pegawai bertugas. You boleh minta bayaran secara instalment melalui Borang CP38. Tetapi dari pengalaman saya, kalau berkaitan dengan penalty, susah sikit untuk bayar instalment, but once again.. bergantung kepada budi bicara pegawai LHDN yang kendalikan kes anda..

3) Maafkan saya, bukan digital cert, it's a pin number. Yes, you can request from them you pin number. Selalu kalau musim tax ni, ade kaunter khas untuk minta pin number sahaja..

i x faham sangat regarding this statement,

my EPF more than rm7k so cannot claim kah? 

Jawapan saya: Everyone is entitled to claim for EPF and life insurance amounting RM7,000 this year. If your EPF already hit RM7K, your life insurance is no longer applicable in this case. So you can straight away claim your EPF / Life insurance of RM7K.  The life insurance comes into the picture if let say, my EPF is around RM4K, then only I will look into my life insurance to claim for the remaining..

Selamat hari Isnin? U all mengalami Birunyer Isnin?
