Japan Trip - Day 8 - DisneySea Tokyo (Part 1)

I have abandoned this little trip diary for quite some time due to laziness in uploading and editing the pictures..

So, hell no, Disney Sea trip must be part of this blog no matter what.. Anyway, it has been a month since our last trip to Japan. Where the time flies??

We visited Disney Sea on 24 November 2009 after checking the best weather for that week. My SIL told me that Disney Sea we gonna have more walking as the playland is quite far from one to another as compared to Disneyland.

And yes, we found the perfect day..

Taking pictures at the globe. my SIL said that it should be our MUST have picture as she wanted to compare who owned the nicest map + globe watsoever. The globe is moving, and the water is splashing, so it is on our luck to get the best picture, we couldnt wait since they must be someone waiting for their turn..

 

And when we entered the main entrance, we heard the announcement that the mini parade had just started, without waiting no time, we ran (serious lari) to find a good spot..

And the Chipmunks. Have you watched Alvin and the Chipmunks?? Emir loves it very much, terkekek ketawa but errr. he told me he loves the Chippetss (boys will always be boys :))

 

Next, the Gondola.. One thing at Disney Sea, the queue seems no where to be found except for the most attraction places. and Gondola ride is not one of them..

Walaupun mengerah tenaga mendayung sampan, tapi pekerja Jepun sangatlah senyum dan siap nyanyi lagi ok

 

Next - New York Taxi, it took almost 10 minutes for a short ride.. hehe..

 

until Emir easily get bored because it was tooo slow..

 

Then we watched Big Band Beat, the Disney live performance and we understand with effect from November 2009, tickets must be first obtained from this special booth and the seat is allocated based on luck and lucky us we got quite nice view seat..

 

Unfortunately, camera was not allowed but hehe being Malaysian, doesn't we love to break the rules

 

Then, we tried the Classic Mickey Mouse train

 

The train is like a monorail, so while we were on the train, we saw that the American Waterfront performance just started

 

Yes again, we rannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn from the train point to this waterfront.. Penat penat..

 

 But when the came nearer, suddenly bateri kong!!!

We queued here at Leornard's trail (something like that lah), treasure hunt for the visitors, while we lined up, one staff came towards us and informed that it was not advisable for us to take part as all the instructions were in the Japanese language.. hehe

 

So, ape lagi Eating time - home made nasi goreng hehe

Turtle Talk is the most recent attraction at Disney Sea however, the turtle talk in Japanese and we didnt understand a word but Emir on the other hand had a good time.

Chinese wedding

Attended Friso Family Day Out today but I shall blog about the event at one of my special entry :)

I love to attend Malaysian wedding. In Malaysia, we get the opportunity to learn other culture and be part of their happiness. Malaysia is a unique country where we can find several types of weddings under the name of Malaysia.  Up until now, apart from Malay weddings, Mee Leng's wedding is the second Chinese wedding I have attended.

So as a Malay, Chinese wedding means GOOD FOOD!!! (Another food entry :)

Mee Leng is a colleague of mine. Honestly she is the nicest person I have ever known on earth. Not even once I have seen her in temper or in cloudy mood and she never talk back about people. She has this warmest smile where everyone enjoy to work with. and I bet, many people in the department will agree with me.

And so she is getting married, and the wedding celebration was held at Hilton PJ just now. She looks amazing with her red gown and I might say by looking at her prewedding picture, the make up and the dress, she deserved to get the best bride (for Chinese) I have ever since ...

Betullah orang cakap, the reflection of orang baik.. semua jadi cantik.. and so does the opposite, harap muke saje lawa tak boleh jugak dek..

As I mentioned earlier, Chinese wedding means good food. Food has been served one after another and usually they have 10 menus to be served. Starting from the main dish until the dessert, yes Chinese really spend the money for good food (except for some people la kan kekekke)

And the table should be occupied by 10 pax, but Dot, Faidzah and Naz were unable to attend. Not only we didnt have to fight for the food (haha macam lah cik Faidzah makan banyak).. BUT  Phew... selamat since two of the chairs have been filled up by..

This young gentleman since his parents left his stroller in Emir's Atok's house.. So the mother and the father did enjoyed the food peacefully..

Plus my husband, only five of us at this table.. The food that I love most is the steamed fish..

1 January 2010

Its all about good food and good time.. Yes, doesnt it call as a holiday :)

So we started our 1 January 2010 by witnessed the fireworks around KL area from Duke view. As predicted, Duke was making money on 1 January as cars entered the highway for the seek of watching the fireworks, including yours truly.

We have promised Emir earlier to bring him to watch fireworks as he agreed to see his paed (yes, he is having running nose and coughing).

We were comtemplating to choose either Akleh highway or Duke highway but since Duke highway is nearer as compared to Akleh so we chose Duke highway. But I must say, for a better view next time, Akleh is the best spot as it is nearer to the city centre. Duke boleh lah but the satisfaction you can get it from Akleh.

Then we went to McD, Emir requested for McD with playground so we went to McD after the Zoo negara and tadaaa i tell ya, they were many kids there who were still laughing, shouting and active at nearly 2am. Well, parents nowadays kan.. But forgot to snap pictures..

Early in the morning, my father received a call from my aunt inviting us for ad hoc family gathering. So apa lagi, bawa perut sajalah. Sorry all pictures are courtesy from my iPhone, so tidaklah menarik dan shaking hehehe..

Well, when you talk about family gathering at the same time we are talking about the good food. we came slightly late and the rows of foods were nicely on the table, so apaaa lagi kan...

From left jiji Ika and Mimi.. Jiji was busy with her food while the other two girls sempat lagi kasik senyum..

One serious little girl hehehe, Arissa was not ready for the picture I guess.. You know I really love Arissa's hair, it is naturally curl..

And at the same time, my father took this opportunity to eat lamb.. Amboi bukan main senyum lagi kan...

And this young ladies were busy with Internet, ya tuan tuan, mereka tidak makan, hanya mengadap internet saje, budak budak zaman sekarang heheheeh

And this room for young boys (ya ya Arissa ade), can you Emir eating the strawberry..?? anyway, the rest of them are Emir's uncles and auties okay!!

And this generation supposedly responsible for BBQ, but err we were busy posing hehehe

So, at night, Mr. Husband and I rushed for Yamani's wedding at Kelab Darul Ehsan

Yamani is Mr. Husband's colleague in UM and yes Ariffah, he married his student .. hehehe.. and sorry again for the blur picture.. blame the iPhone and the husband ok..

Welcome 2010

Nothing much to say..

Looking forward to work very hard in everything that I do, getting more pay and makes everyone happy.. Hoping that Allah continuously provides me with a good health..

For Emir, can I target that he can read at the age of 4?? hahahah.. or recognize Alif Ba Ta at the age of 4..

Yada yada, I received the invitation for Family Day Out at Kizsport this coming Saturday.. As I said earlier, dapat invitation tu pun dah happy dah.. Kalau menang is a bonus.. Sape dapat pergi, nanti kite jumpe ok..


and oh ya.. i accidentally cucuk mate anak i.. sampai merah, ade kesan darah and bengkak... ish ish ish.. will update later..

Datang rumah

So finally, the whole family except Che Yah and of course Saffuan came over to my house for a lunch. And as promised yesterday, I was super duper one busy woman cooking what she call special. Hubby was kind enough mopping the floor and cleaning the guest toilet and only after he finished everything, he woke me up which was already 930 am. So being me, I loved to take my own sweet time on the bed before start my day.

So, I started cooking around 10:40 and I made a big mistake - masak dessert dulu, and as usual Caramel is my choice, but not today, the sugar became too sticky and it took me an hour to get the right melting sugar. I have planned what to cook - sambal udang masak petai, roasted honey chicken, bendi + ikan bilis, sotong goreng tepung, and soup. Simple kan buttttttt sambal tak buat lagi, ikan bilis tak kopek, pastu nak blend, sotong goreng yang banyak ituuu, nak buat satu satu.. and the best part, terlupa nak keluarkan ayam pagi pagi, so nak kene handle ayam yang keras tu.. Nasib baik dah siang udang and sotong the night before.

Mr. husband walaupun tak sihat, tapi dia gagahkan diri tolong buat carrot juice. Thanks honey!!

And Im done with cooking around 3 and lucky me, they came around 3, setakat tunggu nak siapkan meje.. kalau tak berlapar lah..

Jiji and Akhir -first time datang rumah

My mum was beside my father, tak pakai tudung, so tak leh nak amik gambar..

Tak sure la kenape dua beradik ni amik gambar sendiri, tahu tahu ade gambar dalam my phone.. and not sure why Mimi berkenan dengan topi mickey mouse tu :)

p/s Alfatihah tu kawan hana, arwah Reza, i tak kenal arwah personally, tapi selalu tengok hana post gambar-gambar sebelum sebelum ni dekat blog.. thats why rase macam dekat.. meninggal mengejut (i guess) masa dalam perjalanan ke surau untuk solat subuh, meninggalkan seorang isteri dan seorang anak lelaki yang nak masuk dua tahun.. moga arwah ditempatkan orang yang beriman. Al-Fatihah..

macam mane pula bahagian kite yer?? dekat mane Allah nak panggil kite? Ke Surau?? Hospital?? Rumah sendiri?? Atas Jalan?? Allah Maha Besar.. doa lah supaya nyawa kita dicabut bukan di tempat-tempat yang tak diingini, berdoa supaya kita meninggal bukan dalam keadaan mengaibkan, berdoa supaya kite meninggal dengan baju dan kain masih lekat di badan kita.. paling utama berdoalah supaya kita mati dalam lafaz kalimah syahadah..

dan untuk kita-kita yang masih ada orang yang kite sayang kat dunia ni, share your love and ensure that YOU SHOW YOU LOVE...

Panggilan pagi!! -- erk pagi sangatlah

My mum called just now and this is how was the conversation

Mama: Mira, baru bangun tidur ker.. -- mase ni dah pukul 1030 pagi, semalam tidur pukul 2 hehe alasan, two heroes still zzzzz

Mira: Taklah, (walaupun suara baru bangun tido), tak laa baru, tapi tak de la buat ape2 lagi (memang pun, tengah sibuk browse internet)

Mama: Hari ni ade rumah tak

Mira: ade kot (cadang ngan naz nak pergi office hari ni - CANCEL)

Mama: Haa kalau macam tu, mama nak datang rumah la, dah lame tak datang rumah.. (gulp)

Mira: Mama, tak  boleh tak b oleh, rumah tengah disaster.. (yes, it is indeed true)

Mama: Tak pelah, bukannya ape pun

Mira: Tak boleh, tak boleh, esok mama datang, mira masak lunch yang best sekali okeh

Mama: Laa tak boleh pulak ke

Mira: Hari ni tak de lauk, esok mama datang, mira masak special punyer

Mama: Haa yelah yelah..

Phew!! hehehe Takgune punye anak kekekee, padahal mira ni setiap kali balik Kemensah, ajak mama baba datang rumah, bile derang nak datang, tak  bagi pulak.. ish ish ish.. nasib baik mak sendiri.. it if it was my in laws, takkan nak cakap macam tu.. berserah je laah.. jeng jeng jeng..
