I know such a boring topic for a personal entry. But anyway, let me target this entry for those tourists, somehow one of the most popular key words in this small blog usually referring to places that I have visited, so long that I jotted it down in detail.
---kene lah cakap omputih sikit :p ---
Melaka Batik House is located at MITC Melaka which has been in operation since last two years with big cooperation from Noor Arfa Batik, the Company which need no introduction in Batik industry in Malaysia.
It has two stories building in which each level comprises its own unit in promoting Batik. At the ground floor, guests are welcomed to learn how to make batik from coloring the fabric up until drying and fixing the fabric colors, even guests may be able to put their hands on Batik painting through several packages offered by Melaka Batik House.
At the second floor, you can indulge yourself by beautiful batik design from few designers (not only by Noor Arfa's design) and this is the place where you can have your Batik shopping. All you have to do is ask your wallet how much you are willing to spend on each Batik. From my observation, Batik price ranges from as low as RM39 up to few hundreds (perhaps thousand) and again depends on fabric and design of the Batik.
