Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

First of all thank you Santai Magazine for choosing me as the winner.. ok, to be exact, choosing my husband's slogan as the winner for the contest (err even though, I was the one who created the slogan kan..:p)..

We checked in around 6pm on last Friday as both of us were still working on that day. So, I came all the way from KLCC -- changed train at KL Sentral to irritating KTM and later stopped at Putra, while my husband fetched Emir from school and straight away to PWTC.

Honestly, I thought Seri Pacific Hotel is Sunway Putra Hotel, thank goodness there is a signboard for Sunway Putra Mall -- ok, no more The mall :), and my guts said, Sunway Putra Hotel should be on the same building.. Blame me, I didn't really read the map ..

and when I arrived, Hubby was checking in..

the hotel lobby is located at Level 9 and we were then placed at Level 14.

THE ROOM

We were entitled for Deluxe Room and again honestly, I assumed the room is a normal deluxe room. But when I entered the room... 

wah-lah..

the room was very spacious, really spacious, too big for us - a family of three.. clean and it has one small area with leather sofa!! and yes, the decor was lovely as well. Giving me some ideas to decorate my own room .... later.. :) Emir as usual, the first thing that he would do -- jumping on the bed..


p/s if only the room can be upgraded to Crest Room, the more i can say it here ;)

THE SWIMMING POOL

Ok, having a small kid, another must check in area is always swimming pool. 

And wah-lah.. 

The swimming pool area is overlooking KLCC, KL Tower, such a breathtaking view. and did I mention - it is big.. with three sections for kids??? with one hot pool area...

THE FOOD

Wide range of food for breakfast. Impressive range of foods to different type of people.. :) From Nasi lemak, noodles, porridge, western breakfast and up to thosai ... You know my Emir is not a big fan of buffet food but  here, he really --- MAKAN SAKAN.. from nasi lemak, sausage, waffle, cornflakes and few trips for just yogurts!!! 

Sedap sedap sedap..

 

That's all from us!! Perhaps one disadvantage was, our date clash with MATTA fair and hubby had to "fight" for parking space.. 


but for tourists, yes, i do agree that this hotel is located outside tourist attraction but it is closed to KTM station and Star LRT Line, and the hotel does provide free shuttle to Menara KL (if im not mistaken). 


So, the choice is yours :)

and honestly this is my first big winning in the year 2012.. Happy tak? Of course la happy!!..  Even though 2012 seems a lil bit slow from me, but Alhamdulillah, ade jugak rezeki  yang terlekat.. 


sekali lagi, untuk tahun ni yang menariknya nama i tak naik-naik lagi, semua yang menang nama orang lain.. :) and this time around, my husband's name is selected as the winner :) --- tak kisah janjiiiii i pun dapat merasa... The contest winner is selected based on the best slogan, i submitted two entries (diff contests, same magazine) in which at that time, i just prepared the slogan while I was almost fall asleep -- mase tu bangkit kejap sebab teringat due date dah dekat hehe.. actually i target nak menang Grand Lexis, PD, tapi tak de rezeki dekat situ


I baru tau Sunway Hotel Putra ni sebenarnyer dulu Legend Hotel ..

walaupun tengah KL , as long as it is FREE i memang gedik suke hehehe.. -- u think i wanna spend few hundreds just to stay at any hotels in KL.. a BIG no :d

and.. dapat Deluxe room which is worth RM259 per night..  dan paling penting ade Internet Connectivity !!

so, can i say this is my birthday present as well? Alhamdulillah
