I'm back

and survived my two weeks training.. and definitely will miss all of 51 crazy people!! macam laa tak boleh jumpe kat KLCC kan.. but hmm it never never gonna be the same again...


akan rindu sama itu gelak dan ketawa, akan rindu sama itu bilik karaoke dengan mereka-mereka, akan rindu sama itu semua group work, akan rindu sama itu makan percuma 6 kali sehari dan sudah tentu akan rindu sama itu dobi percuma sekali dengan iron..


but the most important part, saya sudah kembali ke pangkuan suami dan anak tercinta...

Yeay.. finally I'm back home.. but... just for another less than 10 hours before Im heading back to Per*ma*ta... and so.. I didn't win any of UO lucky draw prizes which I have been nagging both my husband and my father to attend the event at Chow Kit. Pity them especially my father, they had to stand for two hours waiting for the announcement.. pulak tu tak menang.. ape nak buat, rezeki di tangan Tuhan..


Of cos I do have a lot of stories to share with the rest of the family .. hehe .. biase lah.. being a kakak kepoh.. kalau boleh semua nak cerita... 


but anyway, im leaving you with some of my random pictures that i have taken (itupun tige saje.. ) for your view and definitely for my own safekeeping.. 

They are my roommates for two weeks :) So one fine day, we didnt have any night class, so ape lagi... zoom lah tempat terdekat sekali dengan bangi... ---> Alamanda .. 

Yes, we do have a lot of team building activities, and "constructing" Twin Towers with some terms and conditions regulated by our facilitators was one of the activities that I like most.. It was not easy you all.!! We have to divide ourselves into two groups and each group is only required to develop one tower and both teams were not allowed to discuss except the leaders from each group. So orang kate, bile time nak joint the bridge tu kire our historic moment -lah and yes, of course lah we did it!! ape gune nyer banyak engineers dalam tu kan.. 


Well, ini semua happy moments kan.. u think semua happy??? hehehehe.. :)

Quick post..

Alhamdulillah, today is the Day 5 I am here at Perm*ata Bangi. Everything seems interesting especially when I got a chance to mingle around with some of the fresh graduates. Despite the fact that I have to endure that err I am no longer young!!! yelah, without further hesitation, they just call me Kakak by perhaps just looking at my physical appearance.. *Damn.. hahahah


Secondly, gosh i'm telling you... P*et*ronas ni really really feed us, 6 times a day, and our breakfast, lunch and dinner are really really luxury!! Imagine, each session comes with a complete set, mesti ade ayam, ikan, daging, belum campur dan lain-lain lagi.. kambing seafood.. well, definitely you will see me 1kg (even more) heavier than before...


Thirdly.. I do miss my Emir.. I called him yesterday, and here was our conversation


Ibu: Emir, did you miss me..
--- without answering my question, he replied
Emir: Do you know, Papa donest let me to eat junk food
Ibu: bagus lah..
Emir: THEN... I DONT MISS YOU!!!

I will be away for 2 weeks attending new staff orientation... with no Internet.. since i dont have iPhone apatah lagi iPad apatah lagi whatever 3G phone, kalau ade Internet kat sane pun, tak boleh online jugak..ya ya ya...im old school-lah babe :)

DaripadaNya kita datang, dan kepadaNya kita kembali.. 

arwah Ayah Lob sebagai MC semasa majlis perkahwinan saya pada tahun 2005. 

Bapa saudara saya iaitu ayah kepada sepupu saya, Iryani.. selamat kembali ke rahmatullah petang tadi di Hospital Ampang dan jenazah mengikut kata ayah saya, telah selamat dikebumikan di Gerik, Perak setelah beberapa tahun mengidap penyakit kanser darah.


Baba dan Mama berserta Kak Laila dan Aqilah masih dalam perjalanan ke Gerik Perak, sekarang waktu ni 10.35pm baru berada di Sungai Perak. InsyaAllah, esok jika tiada aral, saya akan bertolak ke Gerik Perak. Tak dapat nak rush balik hari ini memandangkan esok hari terakhir saya dekat Gr*eat Eas*tern dan esok ade urusan yang tak dapat nak dielakkan di P*et*ronas. Tapi Alhamdulillah sempat jumpe arwah di Bilik Forensik Hospital Ampang. Pengalaman pertama melihat beberapa jenazah dikafankan.


Dear Ani, i know it is really hard for you.. but it is even harder for your mother. Moga roh arwah ditempatkan bersama orang yang Soleh. Alfatihah.

First friend @ Standard One..

Did you remember who was your first friend when you first stepped in to the primary school..??


Me.. yes..!!! She is Sharmeen Raof...

and the best part.. we still keep in touch with each other up until now.. so imagine our friendship is already more than 20 years.. :) 

recently, she invited me for her belated birthday party at her house. Oh by the way she is still single, anak daraa lagi u,.. but not sure whether she is available or not.. :) i was late for the cake cutting ceremony, so I missed that rainbow theme party.. 

managed to meet Firdaus, another primary mate friend. tapi tak sempat ambik gambar, i datang, dia balik.. and also met Maisarah, Sharmeen's best friend but coincidentally being my friend too.. Last time, she used to ask me how it felt to give birth, what to do, which hospital to go.. but nowwwwwww

she is blessed with three children, and  you know with that body shape, did you believe she just delivered her third child!!.. rezeki masing-masing kan... cepat je dah tiga orang anak.. and of cos Emir and his son were the most cheerful guests of the day!!! :)

Graffiti at Wangsa Maju

you know, whether we notice or not, we have a lot of creative youngsters out there.. tapi mungkin prasarana tak cukup banyak bakat-bakat terpendam yang terpakse direndam dalam kepala, tak pun kalau depa melepaskan bakat terpendam, orang nampak macam vandalisme. Yes, i akui kadang-kadang, contohnya macam pelukis graffiti memang tak patut lukis dekat tembok dinding rumah orang, and i percaya, tuan rumah tu sure akan sumpah seranah kalau tengok-tengok tembok dinding dia yang dah dibina sampai terkopak duit poket sendiri kene lukis gambar errr... Nirvana ke atau sewaktu dengannya..


Kalau siape-siape yang duduk dekat Wangsa Maju area, atau selalu pergi Carrefour Wangsa Maju, banyak akan perasan lukisan graffiti yang sangat menarik dekat tembok Shell.. Ini kalau orang cakap vandalism, i kurang bersetuju, sebab the art is nice and that art should be presented to others. Plus, tak kacau siape2 pun, tak tau la kalau tauke Shell tu marahkan, but I dont think so..

And this group is quite active dalam sesi penukaran Graffiti.. macam-macam seni dekat situ.. kali ni tema hari raya.. I should taken the pictures more, tapi memandangkan I sendiri yang bawak kerete, I sendiri yang ambik gambar, mane lah nak sempat kan.. ini pun sempat sebab traffic light tengah merah..


sayangkan, tak banyak bende2 macam ni disediakan untuk remaja kite.. dulu mase zaman i kecik-kecik ade Rakan Muda, i still believe Rakan Muda was a good program and mase tu, our Government memang betul2 buat. dulu kawasan perumahan yang I tinggal dekat Ampang Jaya, memang aktif sangat kegiatan Rakan Muda ni and it was FREE..!!


but biaselah negara kite ni, each Minister is trying to make new changes, and the last development has been ignored despite millions of Malaysian taxpayers' contribution have been invested.. kalau lah Rakan Muda tu dapat maintain dari dulu sampai sekarang, banyak budak2 boleh buat dari mengadap komputer / Facebook.. errr at least mak bapak pun boleh join hehehe


oh ..... and same goes to our education system :) dok tukar je kan.. 

I really really

want to execute my idea.. i mean make my idea becomes reality..!! Seriously... i think it is fun, but i dunno what the audience will say about my errr "test market" idea.. i dah memang check dekat serata internet.. memang tak de sape buat lagi...

but the problem is how how how.. takut jugak, suruh orang buat kang, senyap2 dia buat jadi idea dia pulak hahahah.. laki i sendiri sibuk dengan keje dia.. so tak mau kacau

i think i can do it myself, tapi tidaklah 100% yang i nak .. kalau i buat, memang giler bapak budak kecik punye html lah ahhaha..

see how see how.. i memang make a target by 2012, this idea yang i dah terperap lame mesti mesti wajib wajib dilaksanakan.. mane tau boleh jadi my side income kan :)

Betapa ketagih anda sebagai seorang contest lover..??

I cube jugak cari perkataan dalam bahasa untuk contest lover, tapi bile translate bunyi macam tak sedap.. "pecinta pertandingan" - serious bunyi tak sedap kan.. :) sorry, i bukan orang yang merendahkan bahasa, i kat rumah pun cakap BM, dengan Emir pun i cakap BM, walaupun si kecik tu asyik translate balik in "bahasa kebangsaan" dia.. but sometimes, you find it funny to translate in BM on certain words.


ok baiklah.. tinggalkan bahasa jiwa bangsa kite.. yang penting I nak cerite pasal contest lover.. 


sesungguhnya ... dan sebenarnyer (macam lagu yuna :p), i makin teruk suke main contest adalah tahun ni, kalau nak ikutkan lepas2 i menang American Idol tu, i ade sedikit addicted, but not as teruk as this year.. why.. 


meh la i kupas2 sikit kot kot la nak tahu takat mane ketagihan kite.. this is purely based on my experiences..


first and foremost.. kalau lah u all ketagih, untuk follower i yang tak seberape tu, kalau nampak perkataan contest dekat dashboard ade orang publish title "contest" sure you all klik terus kan.. same goes to kalau ade orang publish entry "winning entry", sebab kite nak tau dia menang ape.. :) kalau orang yang tak berkenan bab2 contest ni.. sure dalam hati dia akan kate "tak habis2 contest mira ni" dan terus berlalu pergi meninggalkan entry i yang pasal contest tu... 


secondly.. u dah ketagih dengan contest bile tetibe kawan-kawan u pun same je kepala dengan you suke contest (hi Suzi, hi Ayu, hi Ezna, hi Wan).. sebab tu last year i kate lepas i menang American Idol tu, i tak de la teruk sangat join contest macam this year.. sebabnya... i tak de geng lagi.. so semangat kemenangan orang lain tak masuk lagi terus dalam jiwa raga i hahahaha... tapi sekarang ni, lepas dah kumpul sorang-sorang suke contest.. boleh katekan setiap hari i akan ade orang yang mintak jadi rakan taulan dekat Facebook and they are all contest seeker.. :)


thirdly... u tau u ketagih bile u masuk mane2 kedai, u akan pusing satu kedai tu kot-kot ade borang contest yang boleh you ambik and simpan.. tak pun, akan ade family or kawan terdekat you dengan rela hati serahkan segala borang contest untuk tatapan you cos they know you will not value that contest form as another paper.. macam i, selalunyer hari jumaat,  balik dari keje i akan singgah jap kat giant.. bukan beli barang pun.. just ambik borang contest dekat kaunter Giant Melawati tu, then balik rumah :p


fourth... u tau u ketagih bile u sanggup letak sebelah a portion of your monthly salary to buy the item as proof of purchase. honestly until this year tapi tak ingat sampai bile, i memang anti kalau contest ni mintak proof of purchase, to me (at that time - lah ) rase macam organizer tu tak ikhlas pulak nak organize contest.. but hey... bile i pikir balik, of cos it is a marketing strategy kan :) plus, i tengok kengkawan i yang "hantu" contest ni kebanyakan yang menang hadiah best-best dari offline contest.. so i cube lah luck.. Alhamdulillah it is proven, i sendiri menang RM20K dari offline contest -- thanks to Royal Gold... (tapi sedey tak sampai-sampai lagi hadiahnye dari minggu ke minggu :)) and RM3K dari Maspati.. lumayan kan.. As to date, the highest purchase yang I beli was RM80.. untuk Maybelline contest.. mase tu memang I nak beli pun compact powder and lisptick.. so I didn't think it was a waste.. (i mean saje beli sebab nak masuk contest).. kalau menang, it is a bonus.. kalau kalah, its ok sebab i memang nak pun .. 


fifth.. u tau u ketagih bile u ade your own control list, contest ape yang belum masuk and contest ape yang u dah masuk.. hehe its me.. aler control list biase-biase je.. kalau nak tengok contest ape yang i belum masuk, usually i will refer to this http://devidalildevil.blogspot.com/search/label/CONTEST%20CRAZE . Devi, is another my contest sifu.. she is really superb in contest !! and contest yang i dah masuk, i have my own spreadsheet. hari ape i hantar,  hantar pakai ape.. online ke post ke, by hand ke slogan based ke, or lucky draw based ke... maybe next in line i should include kalau yang slogan based ni, slogan ape i tarik kan..


dan yang keenam, u tau u ketagih contest bile u dok heret ahli keluarga u or kawan-kawan you tolong u ambik gambar ke, posing sakan ke.. and you know sometimes depa pun "penat" tengok kite ni :D ok fine -- vote for u ke.. from now on, i will try to avoid voting contest except kalau tengok ade harapan nak menang :p.. part nak mintak vote ni yang paling i malas.. it is seriously dum*ba*ss time consuming.. dan i ni pulak tak pandai fish vote..


dan paling best, tetibe je ramai orang yang berdekatan dengan you pun join sekali masuk contest.. :) even my father pun rajin dah ambik2 borang ni.. :D


so kalau you ade keenam-enam yang i dah sebut tu ataupun lebih dari 3/6.. perhaps we are contest lover.. hehehehe

Emir's 4th concert

His first solo show on stage. Last year I thought he had this stage fright, so the teacher had no other choice but to replace him with his friend. Even though he was looking on the floor which he said was not his intention (he wanted to ensure the mic was OK) but definitely as his mother.. I am really proud of him.. Like you do (if you watch this video), I am disturbed with this old lady sitting at the front row. :) but what to do... they didn't allow us, the parents to stand .. :)

Tutti Frutti - fenomena terbaru?

Kalau untuk keluarga kecik i ni YES.. i ingat lagi mase tu I pergi Wangsa Walk dengan adik-adik I, Shahiran and Cik yah.. actually kan to be honest, kalau ade ape-ape yang i nak cari yang laki i tak boleh ikut especially lepas-lepas balik keje, I memang heretlah adik i dua orang ni ikut I.. and derang selalu sporting ikut je sebab selalunye seperti biase mestilah bestkan sebab lepas-lepas tu i will "award" them with something, tak pun adik-adik i tanpe segan silu boleh mintak dekat I hahaha.. 

back to the topic, mase lalu dekat Wangsa Walk tu, mase tu parking jauh sikit... alaa kalau nak ikutkan, i kadang-kadang memang kiasu sikit, kalau ade parking tak yah bayar, kalau i rase boleh jalan and tak  membahayakan, i sanggup je jalan walaupun parking tu setakat dua tiga empat ringgit je sekali masuk :).. oh did you i dolu-dolu keje dekat accounting firm hahaha..

So bile lalu tu, ade Tutti Frutti, i pun cakap dengan adik I, "eh jom try ape yang best nye" so mase i masuk kedai, seperti biase kalau kadang2 bile i jadi tak malu, i selambe je.. terus tanpe segan silu i announced dekat satu kedai (mase tu takat tanye staff dia je, tapi sebab duduk jauh bebenor, i pun cakap pade jauh je)

Me: eh dik, akak ni first time ni, ape nak buat ni 

adik i sambil berbisik... "ish kak long ni, cakap la pelan-pelan sikit"

hehehe..

tapi nasib i baik.. i sempat laa tengok rupenye 10 gram same dengan RM0.53 sen (ok akak lupe, 10 gram  ke 100 gram, tapi 100 gram macam tak logik pulak).. so tak de lah i ambik cup yang besau tu lepas tu penuhkan sehabis mungkin kan..

but my first bill with Tutti Frutti was RM11++ and shared with 3 of them.. huhu.. 

So bile i try... sedapnye!! terus i introduce dekat laki i..

IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE!!!

hahahahah... sorry lah Encik Emran ye..

so sekarang ni laki i ni tak boleh lalu dekat MRR2 depan zoo negara tu punye Tutti Frutti, kalau lalu sure nak stop..tapi serious laku betul Tutti Frutti kat MRR2, penuh ok!!

and Emir pun same naik suke Tutti Frutti jugak but err it was not as bad as his father.. Laki i kate, it reminds him of his childhood days selalu makan yogurt icecream... :)

Tapi serious memang sedap pun... :) Tengok lah gambar-gambar Emir ni

  

p/s kalau you all pergi sane, jage-jage jangan sampai penuhkan cup tu, dah banyak kali i tengok orang yang first time datang, terkejut badak sebab bile timbang boleh kene sampai RM25 and above for just one cup..

This is my very first winning via magazine.. :) slogan based and the top 10 creative slogan would walk away with RM100 vouchers from Skechers.. Couldnt remember what I wrote,  kalau ingat, sure dah letak sini, at least boleh jadi i punye reference jugak..

Honestly, i tak pernah own any Skechers's shoes.. so I browse, kalau tengok website, Skechers is specializing in sports shoes.. tapi in US, they do have sandals, working shoes and so on.. tapi kat Malaysia, kalau tengok gambar kat Facebook tu majoriti sports shoes .. and RM100 ni tak cukup  ni :D..

Kalau ikut surat ni, kate ade 3 stores je in Malaysia.. sekali bile I bukak website... ADE dekat Mid Valley!! stress.. sebab baru je tadi pergi Mid Valley tengok concert Emir, lepas tu punye lah lame Emir main kat Megakidz tu.. kalau I tau, baiklah i pergi redeem dulu Skechers ni, nak nak, I memang letak dalam beg pun... sabo je lah kan..

honestly i ni pun kalau weekend memang tak kose nak meredah dengan crowd kat any shopping mall .. nak pergi weekdays, tak berkesempatan.. so see how.. kene cepat sebab dari 17 sampai lah 31 October I will be stuck at Per*ma*ta...

I am so proud of him.. nak upload gambar.. tapi takes time, sebab my hubby ambik gambar, tau  je la, kalau tunggu laki i edit, takut dah basi cerite pulak, tapi kalau i nak cepat, kene la convert RAW-jpg.. leceh kan :) sekarang i upload video kat YouTube.. 736 minit ok... panjang kan

Steve Jobs and his presentation skills.

A leader must have a charismatic personality, not only the way he directs the company / department / your organization, his charismatic persona can be seen on the way he talks and presenting his idea or speech. As you have known, Steve Jobs died yesterday after suffering from cancer. 


And today, he left us with his Apple for us to continue his legacy.. By the way, one thing that I adore about him is his presentation skills. It is totally different from the traditional approach - i mean with the rostrum and the presenter just standing still, but Steve Jobs made some revolution in presentation skills. 


Watch his video and you will find out why...

By the way, recently I found another person who I think actually imitate Steve Job's presentation skills and seriously the charismatic can be truly seen by just one presentation that inspire the rest of the hall. He is just appointed as a new Group CEO of G*reat E*aste*rn - Mr. Chris Wei 

and it was his first speech to us.. You can ask any GE's staffs, it was really electrifying when you witness this kind of speech (but of course, it must come with a good presenter as well)
