Emir is 8 || Emir's Dragon Party || Part 1 - The props

Hari ini nampaknya anak-anak kita dah mula bersekolah. I pun ambil cuti walaupun Emir dh umur 9 tahun. To me age doesnt matter, selagi hayat dikandung badan, dan selagi saya berkesempatan, i kalau boleh tak nak miss hari-hari penting..

insyaAllah...

Baiklah ini adalah really long overdue posting. Kalau ikutkan jarang betul saya upkan cerita Emir punya birthday party. Ada yang tak up terus sebab gambar dah tak tau letak kat mana haha.. (talking about SD card and mr Husband was once upon a time crazy about photographing).. :)

Alhamdulillah dalam tahun 2014, we managed to throw Emir's 8th birthday party at TGV, One Utama. Sebenarnya, nama Hubby naik sebagai salah seorang pemenang TGV Ultimate Giveaway

Terfikir jugak lah nak buat apa dengan hall sebesar tu, jadi bile fikir balik, there you go, baiklah i buat birthday party untuk Emir. Lucky me, ada juga cerite untuk budak-budak yang sangat popular How to Train The Dragon 2 yang masa tu ditayangkan di cinema.

Minta maaf tak dapat jemput ramai. Majoriti yang datang kengkawan kelas Emir.  Stress sungguh masa nak set kan date untuk birthday Emir. Dah elok-elok set kan dgn orang TGV sekali i tak tau ada sekolah ganti hari Sabtu and TGV didnt allow me to change the date. Sedih sungguh sebab takut kawan-kawan kelas Emir (dia suruh ajak boys saje) tak boleh nak datang sebab nak ke sekolah.. 

Jadi, i teruskan je party Emir dan Alhamdulillah semua boys datang party Emir dan bermakne semua boys ponteng sekolah hari Sabtu tu :p

Dan nak dijadikan cerite, i was so busy, ok keje i ni bile pulak tak busy kan.. Tapi masa tu konon nak tetap pendirian nak setup the Birthday Party Sendiri. 

Talking about the theme.. Mulanya Emir minta Tema Plants vs Zombie sebab masa tu dia tengah kemaruk Main Plants vs Zombie 2.. I ikut je, dah siap fikir dah apa nak buat dan dah beli apa yang patut as per the theme.. But bila i minta Papa Emir buat the signage untuk Emir, only i did informed him about the theme and he rejected.. huhu. Dia kata ape ni nak buat Zombie Zombie untuk party theme which i agreed. 

Ambik ko, dua hari nak birthday party, theme bertukar...  But i managed to do a simple decoration lah for my son..

Bawah ni is the candy buffet table, patutnya adalah belon apa bagai sikit, tapi serious tak sempat sebab party start at 10 am :D Kelam kabut lah nak siapkan.. Malam tu i tido sejam je kot.

Its a Dragon Garden signage. I terlupe nak ambik gambar yang proper.. actually i letak some chocs. The choc (garden theme - sebenarnyer dari tema Plants Vs Zombie) i ordered from a friend of mine dekat office. I suke coklat dia tak manis.. Ini i lah buat kan.. Ok fine, setakat print gambar saja dan masukkan ke dalam Ikea punya frame ni.. 

Balang ni, i stick with "Dragon's Toothpaste" lah kononnya, satu lagi i letak "Dragon's braincell". Dalam balang ni dua dua jelly, Toothpaste je laku lagi satu tak laku sebab bebudak ni kate Geliiiii.. sabar je lah kan.. 

Just some add on decoration on the candy buffet table inclusive the one with Emir's picture at the top which i did that for photo session.  

Can you see the choc? It's a KitKat but i just did some simple design. Guess what, Im just using Paint saje and online editing software tools - www.ribbet.com Tak pandai lagi nak gune Adobe Photoshop dan sewaktu dengannya. Therefore, you can just see my simple design.

Satu i letak color hijau, satu lagi i letak color biru.. :)

Again, some decoration... 

Satu lagi i bernasib baik sebab cookie yang i nak order masih belum dibuat oleh none other than famous blogger, kids party event planner - Shilashower.. phew lege gile. at first she was hesitate to work on this theme sebab katenye susah.. but i know she can do it.. 

and u see laa the final result.. terror kan.. very kemass and macam printed jee.

The highlight of the event of cos lah the cake. Once again i thanked the baker when he could accommodate my request even though he already did the Zombie's fondant. pheww. dia kata tak pe dia boleh simpan... I pulak cakap, Mr. Husband tak mau apa-apa Zombie during the party .. i just cakap, you can just do one dragon cukup, bende-bende lain dalam Plants vs Zombie he can remain as it is..

Alhamdulillah ramai yang puji cake Emir sedap. Bukan saja kemas cantik di luar tapi sedap di dalam. and yes, did you realize i sebut HE.. yes, the baker is a guy.. Kerjanya sangat kemas.. Masa adik i tunang pun adik i buat cake tunang dengan dia, cuma lokasinya jauh sikit dari tempat saya iaitu di Puncak  Jalil.. Terima kasih Ezna sebab sudi bersusah payah ambikkan cake Emir untuk I.

Papa yang susah payah melukis ini untuk birthday Emir.. Sama kan :D am so proud of you Papa! walaupun canvas tu buat hal, air tak sempat betul2 kering, tapi sangat sentimental value.. :) Ini pun Papa buat sehari sebelum .. 

I pulun malam lepas balik keje.. kire less than 12 hours lah untuk decoration.

On the day itself, ibu Emir and Papa Emir sangat berterima kasih to my sisters, Ainun and Ainaa and my sister in law yang memang bersusah payah untuk siapkan props, sebab i kene tinggalkan Chill X untuk uruskan bebudak dekat dalam TGV hall.. 

Kalau tak de mereka.. hmm agaknya table kosong je kot..
