Im*pact Da*y at Del*oi*tte

Ok fine, now you know where I work .. ya da yada.. still Big Four firm, what to do, rezeki I termaktub dengan keje keje long hours gini.. Honestly, after changing the job from other firm to this firm, it opens up my eyes to the world, i can see more things in the bigger picture.. of course, I couldnt deny, each place will surely giving me a portion of bitter sweet memory.. which in a way, turn me into more matured person than yesterday....

Compared to the previous firm, even though this firm require more of my commitment to the job, but as much possible, the Company will try to balance the staff to live in a more healthy lifestyle..

So, one of it, they have organized I*mpact D*ay where the Firm is giving back something to the society. Buat keje amal... What we (the employees) have to do is just to sign up as a participant.. Of cos I would love to participate, at least it is a day OFF from STRESS environment.. :) 

 On that day itself, we have been divided into four groups, the first group was selling some cookies at most Giant outlets in Klang Valley, second group - visited the selected houses by JKM and distributed some groceries, the third group - visited welfare houses, shelter homes and the last group, cooking, serving the homeless at various places in Klang Valley.. 

and I was in the second group.. 

So the second to 4th groups, we have to gather at Giant K*ota Da*man*sara early in the morning where the organizer has organized Supermarket Sweep for us to participate. 

Remember Supermarket Sweep? where you have to find few items in a limited time, and in my case, we have to find 15 items in 10 minutes.. and if we win, the hamper that we would receive is a bonus to where we represent the group...

To cut it short, I kalah :) yeah. but being in the first group to run was not so advantage for us since we didnt have a clue what to expect, but those in the later group.. siap ade floor plan lagi since the items to search were the same.. 

Anyhow, our day started after we had our lunch, yerp, we were only be given the lunch box and it was up to us where to find a good place to have our lunch.. and yadayada, our group spotted the empty stage and we had our lunch there. Of course, in the meantime, we have attracted few other customers as we were sooo into food, and some more on stage lagi.. 

Being in the private sector, where we dont really have this kind of errr protocol.. where i can just call my boss by name, i dont have to start with Encik Puan Dato Datin, and I am seriously not so used to call a person with the pangkat in front.. :) where we dont bother where our boss should seat in a board meeting (of cos lah the chair person duduk tengah-tengah kan),  ok baiklah, straight to the point.. 

I was amazed when our partners.. pun makan lunch and they were sitting on the floor in the middle of Gi*ant K*ota D*aman*sara.. amazed cos.. I havent watch this kind of "atmosphere" before.. FYI, Partners in the accounting Firm is the top boss in a department where they hold some shares in the Company. Top boss yang top boss.. so seing them lepak and chit chatted.. to me bagus when ur leader show that kind of example.. and you know one of them ... ok ok I show u the picture.... 

He is the son of our current P*M.. anyway, he as a person, is a humble and a simple person...Thats for sure.. 

 So.. how was my day on that day... I have been assigned to three houses.. but unfortunately we couldnt reach the other two receivers due to unforeseen circumstances... so I took this picture...

OVERALL... walau macam mane kite susah pun, fikirlah.. akan ade orang yang lagi susah pada kite...
