My Emir..

Senang saja nak happykan budak kecik, bawak pergi playground pun dah happy.. tapi kali ni exceptional, saje bagi emir masuk this playground area yang berbayar dekat jusco kepong. Memang tak boleh nak elak, sebab turun escalator jer, terus ade bende alah ni.. memang pandai betul depa design ..

Emir mintak dengan baiknya.. actually Emir kalau  nak ape he will ask politely, it is fine with him kalau i kate tak boleh - selalu alasan i bagi , tak de duit.. tapi this time, i ok je.. lagipun dari dia berjam-jam nak ngadap game, baiklah main yang boleh peluhkan dia..

sekarang kat jusco pun, kalau playground macam ni RM5 per half an hour.. but i think jusco kepong ni quite ok lah. not so bad.. emir pun enjoy.. nasib masa dia masuk tu tak de kanak2 yang super nakal..

Alhamdulillah, satu daripada suam-suam kuku kemenangan untuk tahun ni.. ade beberape berita menang kecil-kecilan tahun ni, tapi belum lagi gagahkan diri untuk mengupload gambar-gambar.. insyaAllah.. 


contest ni dari Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt's facebook, senang saje, ambik gambar dekat Moo Cow + buat slogan, post di Facebook dan tunggulah kot kot menang.. kalau menang dapat iPad.. contest berlangsung selama 4 minggu tak salah i.. dan i masuk minggu yang ke dua.. 


Jujur, i harapkan slogan tu menang.. i mean, selepas memerah otak kan, and i think my slogan quite catchy :p i je lah rase kan, but yes, again, honestly, i thought my slogan can catch that iPad, but unfortunately, rezeki tu bukan milik i.. slogan yang menang, dalam quote slogan yang menang tu -- Moo Cow boleh ganti breastmilk --- erkk :) i have no further comment.. perhaps the judges have different opinion kan.. the rest of the week, i malas nak masuk + i pun dah bz.. 


by right, no consolation prize was given, tapi memandangkan Moo Cow ada buka cawangan baru di Great Eastern Mall, pihak Moo Cow berbesar hati nak hadiahkan 13 Consolation prize kepada 13 pemenang dan i adalah salah sorang daripada pemenang tu.. Alhamdulillah.. 


dan lagi best, mini prize giving ceremony was held at Publika, sekangkang kera dari rumah, kene jumpe pukul 2, 1.40pm baru bertolak.. :)

Separuh masa berbisnes

adalah perkara yang sangat susah untuk seorang ibu, isteri yang bekerja sepenuh masa. 


tapi percayalah, 101% kawan-kawan yang ada title separuh masa menjalankan perniagaan sangat suka dengan apa yang dilakukan. Terpulanglah macam mana atau perniagaan yang dilakukan, rata-rata nampak lebih enjoy dan santai..


dan i sendiri tak terkecuali.. kalau nak tahu, i dah start berniaga kecil-kecilan sejak i darjah dua, jual kad raya.. sangat lah lakunyer.. cikgu pun beli, mane tak nyer, beli 40 sen jual 20 sen ehehe.. lepas tu bangga dapat habiskan semua kad raya.. hehe.. zaman kecik-kecik, i rasa dalam adik beradik i seramai 7 orang tu i je lah kot yang minat bab-bab bisnes ni..


but i love to keep it simple. up until now, my business is simple. 


cuma as you grow along the way, i started to realise, business requires expansion, and the first step is to change my mindset.


slowly, i mula bergerak sikit-sikit, pelan-pelan.. not easy especially when some similar brand has already has a strong name in cyber space, while me, has to comply with the rules and policy of the company not to expose the brand online. 


But again, rezeki is sangat lah luas, besarr... kalau ikut side income yang i dapat, is not even touch 4 figures but sadly, some eyes are staring at me.. trying to push me down.


but its ok.. walaupun i terikat, i tak nampak rezeki i tertutup. Allah gives me a beautiful brain to think and some of you may already know what i am currently working on.. and masyaAllah it works. 


It still slow, but it has improvement from the first day i strategized my plan.


and that was the reason, i was quite for quite some time, apart from having a stress day at work.

me.. on my set bersalin (bende yang paling banyak laa i jual sebulan kan), honestly, apart from spreading the word (of cos u still have to do ur part), rakan-rakan yang direferkan oleh existing customer adalah sangat menggembirakan hati.


and recently, for the first time for me, tempat yang paling jauh i hantar adalah ke kudat, sabah.. ok sungguh, dalam peta pun i tak tau kat mana.. tapi masa i hantar KK dulu it was just RM30++, dua kali i hantar KK, tapi ke Kudat ni, my postage was RM40++.. mahal kan.. rasanya jauh ke pedalaman sikit. Mane dia dapatkan i, sebab she has been introduced by someone :)


and oh, not many people know about the benefits of this set bersalin.. tak banyak pun orang bercerite online - unfortunately.. so that is my obstacle.. semua orang kenal Nona Roguy, HPA,  Sendayu Tinggi, Alfat, Shaklee, Orang kampung, Mak dara, Leesa Formula - u name it.. but not really Amway rite :)


So, im wondering.. bile laa company ni nak longgarkan sikit the policy, everyone is going for online... spreading the news, sharing the brand experience.. but we cant do the same..

Cameron Highlands - The Makan sakan

Honestly, sometimes the most people think about me - maybe I kuat makan. Yes, I cant deny it. I just love food. Suka. Jadi tengok lah badan yang comel ni.


But I know, when the age is giving you a call, I really have to work towards a healthy lifestyle. But errr... it takes time, is it helps if I say,  I no more enjoying fast food, and ayam.. and just love ikan... --ok sekadar sedapkan hati.. 


Ok ok, back to the main story.. Cameron memang tak boleh lari dengan Strawberry dan teh.. semua strawberry, strawberry tersangat lah mewah, semua bende letak strawberry, even dadih jual dekat pasar malam pun ade secalit strawberry, itupun jual dua ringgit jer.. so betapa mewahnya strawberry dekat sini..


Previous entry, I ade cerite nak makan scone yang sedap dekat Rajoo's Farm, tapi disebabkan anak kesayanganku tak nak turun, so dari Rajoo's Farm, kami ke Strawberry Agrofarm, jalan kaki je dari hotel kiterang.. tak payah nak berasak-asak naik kerete.. 


Dekat sini pun hmmm semua ada.. :) dan sangatlah tempting.. i dengan hubby beli asing-asing. Hubby pergi ambik gambar dulu, so I pergi beli makanan dulu.. then , Encik Suami i ni pun beli makanan lagi.. betapa banyak lah untuk kiterang berdua jer..

 yang ni strawberry cheese cake... serious sedap :)

 Strawberry waffle.. pun sedap jugak.. yang ice cream strawberry tu bukan i punye ok, sempat jugaklah nak rasa bersalah kalau makan icecream tu.. sempat rasa satu sudu je - sungguh tak tipu hehehe

 abaikan Emir yang tak nak pandang kamera.. nak tunjuk air je sebenarnyer :) - emir nak pure strawberry juice je.. hubby strawberry Lassi dan I punye strawberry hot chocolate.. :) i kat sane semua kedai i minum strawberry hot choc jer...

bile Emir dah besar ni , I rindu pulak masa emir kecik-kecik, masa Emir tak diperkenalkan lagi dengan segala game dalam tab atau handphone.. dia kurang enjoy sikit kalau aktiviti luar lame-lame, sebab cepat rindu same itu game.. sekarang I dalam proses kurangkan dia main game.. Alhamdulillah slowly progressing, tapi jenuh la nak menjawab soalan dia "Ibu, what to do now.."


Kesian dia kan anak sorang, tak de kawan nak main.. and that's the reason I bagi dia main game..

Cameron Highlands - Largest Indoor Maze in Malaysia

Actually I tak tau, baru je tau mase kat sane hehehe.


So during our 5 hours journey, I already explained to Emir on tourist attraction in Cameron Highlands.. Dalam banyak-banyak tu, we thought that he will be excited to visit Strawberry's farm but surprisingly, dia sibuk nak pergi Bee's farm... 


Tahukan, kalau musim cuti ni, pakcik makcik, apek nyonya, boleh buat duit sangat-sangat sebab semua tempat dekat Cameron Highlands tu penuh sangat-sangat dengan orang.. ok ni gambar dari bilik hotel i.. note that kawasan ni kawasan belakang, sepatutnya tak delah banyak kerete.. tapi tengok la bertapa banyaknyer kerete.. bau minyak brek dah macam sebati dah dekat sini, sebab nyer banyak kete tak tahan bile kene jam teruk macam ni.. 

Dah jam bukan main teruk, we decided to stop, so our first destination the next day tu was Rajoo's Farm.. punyelah susah nak naik atas tu, penuh.. tapi entah macam mane rezeki kiterang, terus dapat parking dekat atas tu, tak payah lah susah-susah nak naik bukit.. 


Tapi .. anak kesayangan I tak nak turun kerete, buat perangai pulak, Emir ni memang pada kecik bukan jenis yang menangis pergi jalan-jalan, suke lagi kalau pergi jalan.. tapi sebab I dah janji nak pergi Bee Farm dulu, tu yang dia nangis sakan tu.. ;)


So dengan hati yang berat, especially mak dia yang nak sangat makan scone Rajoo tu terpakselah melupakan hasrat dan terus masuk kerete menujulah kite ke Bee Farm..

Bukan ade ape pun, laki i suke lah sebab boleh ambik gambar.. so I jalan-jalan je kat taman tu dengan Emir, kawasan taman ni tak de orang pun, kiterang je yang sanggup jalan tengah panas.. tapi sini sejuk so i tak kisah jalan-jalan.. cuma I tangkap gambar Emir.. Emir tangkap gambar i.. 

nasibla ade the Largest Maze in Malaysia ni.. dapat lah mengubat ke-boring-an menunggu laki i ambik gambar.. Adult RM5, child RM3..

Dalam dia macam ni lah.. sorry gambar bawah ni kabur sebab Emir panik tak dapat cari jalan nak keluar.. Overall I rasa not bad, sebab susah jugak nak cari jalan keluar.. let the kid show the way,  kalau mak pak buat kejap je lah habis :)

Kalau dah dapat cari jalan keluar, get the stamp and you will get a keychain.. :) 

Nama je pergi Bee's farm but we didn't buy any honey pun hehehe..

Cameron Highlands - Part 1 - The hotel

Alhamdulillah, barulah terdaya nak update gambar cuti-cuti Cameron Highlands.. bukan ape, terlalu busy,  kami ke sane dengan tiga kamera, satu kamera dslr - hubby punye, satu Lumix yang tak berape cun gambar dia tu i punye dan satu lagi Canon yang hubby menang tu.. so kejap ambik kamera ni kejap ambik kamera tu, i sendiri tak tau which is which.. but i will start with my camera dulu la kan..


As i told you, it was an unplanned vacation. I was on leave on Friday and it was school holidays. So, ape lagi.. plus both of us love Cameron Highlands and the last time we went there was way back in 2009, so approximately 3 years sudah..

We started off our journey quite late, hubby had to settle his own errands in the morning and another reason, I only packed in that morning itself.

But, to make it even more worst, hubby agreed to drive me to Marriott Putrajaya for my photoshoot session - dedicated for the contest which was out of the way already .. perak dengan putrajaya, kan jauh jauh..

and so, timing dah lari, habis everything around 4 pm.. hubby said - Port Dickson je lah since dah dekat but I dun like changed of plan.. I insisted to go to Cameron despite that all hotels were fully booked!!

Yes, fully booked..

Until I called

Hotel Chua Gin and surprisingly, ade bilik lagi...

The price was not bad either.. RM198 on Friday and RM210 on Saturday..

But of course I was uncertain on the hotel.. Dah la mintak RM100 upfront for booking fee, mane ade hotel lain mintak duit bank in dulu kan.. tapi I redah je , nak nak tu je hotel yang ade..

We arrived Cameron Highlands around 8pm+ and Ya Allah.. jam giler ok.. giler-giler.. semut lari pun boleh menang!! So i called my dad, but my dad replied "ade anak tadika, yang berasak-asak ikut orang anak yang dah sekolah buat ape"

Yaa sooo true..

Anyway, sampai jugak dekat sini .. exactly located in Brinchang town..

and the room.. Alhamdulillah, not bad,.. very clean.. tengok TV pun baru..  LCD lagi, cume bilik kiterang tingkat atas sekali, tingkat 4, tak de lif, hubby cakap, kalau duduk seminggu ni sure i boleh kurus huhuhu..

Duduk dekat Brinchang, senang sangat, kiterang banyak jalan kaki je nak ke sane sini .. i will tell you in details later.. anyway, letak bag, terus kiterang pergi Pasar Brinchang cari makan.. dapat lah satu gambar Emir yang pandang kamera macam ni..

Jom makan durian at subang parade

this event was held at subang parade .. the objective of this event is to help the charity organization (sorry i tak aware organization mane) to raise some fund.


my SIL bought four tickets and each ticket cost rm20 each..


from the speech given by the Chairman, i understand that this is the fifth year they organized this event and this year itself, the community managed to raise more than RM100k fund for the charity..


Due to overwhelming response, the organizer has allocated three sessions. the first session started at 1.30pm, so we decided to go for first session..


 as this event strictly started at 1.30 pm, sempatlah kiterang ambik gambar dulu..

 you can eat as much as u can within one hour.. but u knowlah, berape banyaklah boleh telan durian in one sitting. by 20 minutes i was extremely bloated..

of cos im expecting musang king, but i guess that portion was entirely for the VVIP kan --- as usual :) kami rakyat jelata makan durian kampung, but still sedap ;)

and Emir, again, as usual, tak de satu pun gambar dia pandang kamera, either he was hiding or looked somewhere else... *geram

Kalau ade lagi free ticket tahun depan, I dun mind joining hehehe..

Durian Party for Charity

Pemeriksaan gigi percuma bersama Colgate.

I know it has been quite a while, in fact, if im not mistaken, dah habis dah pun free checking ni.. tapi sebab gambar masih tersimpan dalam memory quite, it shouldn't be any harm to share it with you all.. 


Untuk yang tak tahu, baru-baru ni Colgate bersama dengan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia mengadakan pemeriksaan percuma untuk semua golongan, jadi banyak klinik bergerak di buka di shopping mall di seluruh Malaysia bertujuan untuk meningkat kesedaran mengenai kesihatan gigi. 


To be honest, i sendiri ada masalah gigi. Dalam adik-beradik i, gigi I lah yang paling teruk sekali. Gigi I berlapis dan tak sekata, selalu rasa malu especially bila nak senyum depan kamera sebab yang nampak menonjol bukan muke i yang cantik :), tapi gigi kapak i kat depan.. 


Cuma bila i umur 13 tahun i dah pakai braces. Budak sekolah menengah tengah membesar, suke lah kan tengok gigi besi macam ni.. mase tu ramai orang panggil I Robocop, malu jugak tapi nak cantik punya pasal i sanggup. Sebab kecik lagi, bila i bukak braces mase umur i 15 tahun, i tak pandai nak jage, at the end of the day, gigi kembali berlapis sampai lah sekarang, tapi tak lah teruk macam dulu..


Cuma masalah gigi orang berlapis penjagaannya agak rumit, bukan semua berus gigi boleh digunakan, kalau ikut doktor, certain berus gigi tak sesuai untuk berus yang biasa. Tapi i aci boleh je, janji boleh gosok gigi, bukan telan air liur basi.. mane-mane berus gigi pun boleh ;)


so, mase jalan-jalan dekat AU2 Setiawangsa, dekat area Concourse ada klinik bergerak. Mula-mula ajak Emir dia takut, tapi lepas dipujuk-pujuk mahu pulak dia... 

alhamdulillah, gigi emir tak de masalah.. bagus jugak ade program macam ni, sebab nurse ajar Emir macam mane nak gosok gigi cara yang betul and of cos Emir ni kalau bab2 orang lain yang ajar, memang senang nak masuk kepala.. :) kalau mak ajar, banyak la dia punya dos and donts.. 

So  macam mane u all jage gigi anak u all yer.. Emir nak tido, tak de problem nak gosok gigi, bangun tido liat sungguh.. kalau gosok gigi bangun tido kire hari bahagia la tu.. penat dah tunjuk gambar2 orang sakit gigi.. tak jalan jugak.. 


sebelum  berpisah, ni gambar Emir dok push-push Anjang dia suruh check jugak.. confirm la Anjang dia yang control ayu tak nak check kan :)

and I makan nasik lemak yang best, u know, next to BSC, this nasik lemak stall is sangat lah panjang beraturnyer-- sometimes lah :) but i just love it

today - one makcik will come over just to clean my house hehehe -- suke..

but the day after tomorrow...


hmmmmmmm... life is miserable..

I forced, I persuaded, I begged Mr. husband to drive me to Marriott Putrajaya


not only that, I pujuk manja sayang suruh jadi my official photographer..


and it works ;p - aler dah 7 tahun kawin, kalau tak pandai pujuk tak tau la kan.. 


ok, we didn't go for a vacation, my aim was to complete Picture Perfect 10 Contest organised by Marriott in conjunction with their 10th Anniversary. and the winner will walk away with 2 tickets to Osaka, Japan.. phew..


and I have 33.33% chances to win the tickets since they are only 3 participants.. :D


nak menang tu susah lah kan, but at least at least.. i hope dapat lah voucher duduk hotel dalam Malaysia, kalau menang rezeki untuk orang yang 7 tahun kawin ;d

Off to berjalan...

yes, this is seriously unplanned trip :).. 

our last visit in 2009

well,  my hubby just love it and err I have no choice but to follow heheheh..


and so.. it is peak season...


and today during lunch hour, i spent 30 minutes to call few hotels at Cameron Highlands.. 


and the best part.. shall i say.. as expected..


SEMUA PENUH..


I MEAN SEMUAAAAAAAAAAAa


I found one.. couldnt remember which hotel, but the only room left will cost us RM320 per night.. and they only allow us for one night stay.. hmm..


But above all, we will definitely go with our plan..


Emir just love strawberries, and we already promised him to visit the strawberry farm for quite some time.


So, if you find one happy family hitting the headlines sleeping ikut suke hati, most probably it will be us.. hehehehe..


No lah, im sure we will find one, budget hotel pun ok.. as long as it is comfortable and ade internet, we are fine..


Did i tell you we had one experienced where we arrived at Cameron Highlands around 1am with no hotel booking --- again... and all hotels were fully booked..


ish ish ish.. but luckily, we met one Indian man who was at that time lepaking with his friends, and we just asked him to suggest any hotel nearby, but he said -- "saya ada apartment dekat Tanah Rata, ok tak?" 


i know i know, luck sometimes doesn't come twice.. 


and you know you know..


for myself , I cant wait untuk balun udang goreng tepung, mushroom, sotong dekat pasar malam Brinchang.. i suke u :p


doakan kami selamat dalam perjalanan..
